NeilT Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Hi All, I have recently bought a 2007 Dispatch 1.6 HDi H2 L2.Really happy with the van, which will be used for hobbies and DIY.I have a couple of questions though which I need some assistance on as I cant find any real technical stuff online.1. How do I remove the passenger seat?I have a single seat to replace the double, bit when I turn the nut, the whole thing turns. I havent got underneith yet, but assumes it would be a welded bolt?2. Knocking from OS front.Sounds like a drop link, as its more a rattly clonking. Are these a weak area of the van? 3. Air feed pipe. Its missing on mine. I can see it should go from the NS inner arch/wing area, to somewhere under the air intake, but for the life of me I cant see where it should connect. CheersNeil Quote
coastline taxis Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 google 1.6 turbo failure and understand what your up against. But if you stick to the service schedule and always give the engine a flush then the everything will be fine. the air trunking has been removed because they rattle really bad and the quickest fix is to throw them away. other than that there good little workers Quote
NeilT Posted April 22, 2016 Author Posted April 22, 2016 Cheers. I am aware of the turbo issues, and its going in for full service and timing belt next week as its done 150k.It also had a new gearbox and clutch. Although the clutch feels nice, and bites well midway up, it very easy to get slip just by pressing the peddle slightly, is this right? I had a new Viviaro that did the same, but my cars dont. Quote
paul.h Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 If the clutch is hydraulic then it may help to bleed the master and slave cylinders, which should be done anyway when the brake fluid is changed. I had a drop link wear on a C3 and that rattled/knocked when going over bumps but it was easy and cheap enough to replace. Quote
