djdaz116 Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 hi people. two weeks ago the 40amp pump fuse on my c5 mk3 2009(new shape) blew. i replaced the fuse, and sent the suspension up and down a few times. i did notice a whisper of smoke come from the motor, but only the once. anyway its blown a fuse again today two weeks on. i have changed the fuse again, and yes its working but i guess not for long now. can anyone advise on where to get a pump from?. can the motor be refurbished with new bushes and bearing? and can the motor be removed from the car in situ away from the pump? if you can give me some advise it would be great. i have lexia and laptop, just need help with replacing or fixing the motor. many thanks Darren
Johndouglas Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 Hello Darren. It's better just to have the one post on a problem - it helps keep all the replies under the one roof, so I've deleted your repeat post in another section. Hopefully Steve or Paul will be along shortly who may be able to help you.
djdaz116 Posted June 12, 2016 Author Posted June 12, 2016 ok not a problem, thank you and sorry. i know for next time. Daz
paul.h Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Probably best to continue this topic on an existing one http://www.citroen-owners-club.co.uk/citroen/topic/23976-c5-suspension-fault-pump-maxi-fuse-blowing-fault-code-p1351/ where the pump motor has been cleaned to fix this problem so I will lock this one and all replies can be in one place.
