c5vtr Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 Since i managed to make my previous c5 an insurance write off i came across the above. There seems to be some doubt as to the validity of the mileage shown on the last MOT...on paper it states 170,00 kilometres but on the clock in the car its 114,000 miles... Now this car started life in the republic of ireland where they work in kilometres etc but here in the north we're like the rest of the uk and in miles etc Im told there;s an option to switch the mileage on the clock from one to the other but i've never heard of that being possible. Anyone come across this and how do you do it? Quote
paul.h Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 You should be able to change this through the menu on the radio, could then be configuration and units. If you have the handbook it will be in there somewhere, if you do not have one these can be read/copied/printed in sections from here http://service.citroen.com/ddb/ you may need to select your language first. Randombloke Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 On the steering wheel centre, when the car is stationary with ignition on and engine running: Press the left hand thumb wheel briefly, not a long hold as this resets the trip. This brings up the menu in the centre of the speedo dial. Third item down is units, switching between l/100km and MPG will change the speedo and odos from miles to KM and vice versa. Cuise control long press will always jump speed up by 5 of the unit selected, and makes 110/130 km/h cruise control selection easy when in km/h and 60/70 mph the samein MPH. Quote
