sandman2 Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 Hi, I have a 2011 C3 with a fan heater that will only work on one setting. Any ideas? Quote
paul.h Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 When cabin fans only work at one speed it is often the speed control resistor that needs replacing. Which engine does the car have and does it have climate control or manual air con control ? Quote
sandman2 Posted November 23, 2016 Author Posted November 23, 2016 Hi, It is a 1.4 litre diesel VTR+ with manual air con control. Quote
coastline taxis Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 as paul has said it definately sounds like the resistor has gone Quote
paul.h Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 It might be Citroen part no. 6441CT but this should be checked at a dealer using your VIN. It is at the left side of the heater unit up at the back and accessed by removing the sound proofing above the passenger footwell. It is a quarter turn to remove but the heater pipe bracket in front may need removing first. http://www.ebay.fr/itm/Oe-behr-psa-ventilateur-de-chauffage-moteur-resistance-6441Ct-13985-P2942001/161973234163 Quote
