BR4IND3AD Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Further to my previous posts, our 06 c4 suffered a major ecu failure and I've been advised by the technician that it was likely caused by a wiring defects. He went on to say that this was a very common problem with c4s of that age. We have been put on to a newer one local to us, that was registered in 2011. My question is this; how similar are the two cars? Will the newer one also have similar problems like pneumatic rear suspension? Quote
paul.h Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 You can look at the handbook for the later car in this link which might show any differences you will notice, you may need to select your language first and then the C4 Picasso and then the year. A quick look in one for the 2011 year still mentions the pneumatic suspension so it must have been available then. http://service.citroen.com/ddb/ Quote
Routemaster1 Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 (edited) I'm a little confused by this as it seems to be referring to different cars. I am assuming the first is a Xara Picasso, as the very first C4 Picassos were 56 registered (and were rare). The C4 Grand Picasso was fitted with pneumatic suspension on the Exclusive version (and one or two VTR+s) until it was replaced by the Platinum run-out model.
