DKirby Posted February 23, 2022 Share Posted February 23, 2022 Hello everyone Has I cant find a fuel filter for the wife's C2, I take there is not one fitted as standard. As anyone fitted a fuel filter if so where did you put it? The car was born in 2004, My concern is the amount of " crap " building up in the fuel tank and by fitting an filter prevent any contaminated fuel reaching the engine. paul.h Posted February 23, 2022 Share Posted February 23, 2022 I think Citroen may only fit fuel filters to diesel engines. We had a 2003 and a 2010 petrol C3 and they did not have filters. If you want to fit one find somewhere you can cut the fuel hose to insert one. If you choose somewhere with plastic hose it will need replacing with a rubber one since the plastic will probably need to be cut off since it may only be a shrink fit at its ends.
