MRCOOL Posted April 3, 2022 Share Posted April 3, 2022 Evening all, My C4 has just had for the 2nd time the car holding back and the fan racing away, this time though the ECU / service light came up. after resting, the car returned to normal performance but the ECU light stayed illuminated. paul.h Posted April 9, 2022 Share Posted April 9, 2022 If the engine management light came on there will be a fault code stored which needs a code reader to read it and see what the fault might be. Trying to guess a fault can lead to replacing lots of parts before finding the one giving the fault. If you do not have a code reader it is cheaper to buy one than pay a garage to read the codes.
