Guest scott young Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 Hi, I'm new to the board, having just bought an 04 plate C5 2.2HDI Exclusive. I have a problem with it starting, mainly whilst warm. It starts fine if left overnight or all day, however if run even for 5 minutes, then switched off, it will not start again for 10 - 15 minutes. All the dials move, but nothing else happens. I think it might be a softwear issue (it happens on the spare key as well). If anyone else has experienced this, or know's how to resolve it please let me know. Quote

Hi Dave, no, no message re "immobilser fault". I turn the key and the dials all move, but at the final "turn" nothing happens. So no turnover at all from the engiine at all. Quote
Johndouglas Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 For starters - take off the battery terminals and give them a clean. Quote
kfk Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 and also check your battery earth mounting on the gearbox Quote
