coastline taxis Posted July 24, 2009 Author Posted July 24, 2009 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA techbod where you been man?. Thought youd been locked up for murdering a dealer ha ha. How much was the interface and is this a visit or are you back Quote
techbod Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 £199 of fleabay and im back and only insulted a dealer a couple of times lol. ill be in and out of the site for a while but as my pug is still PSA im still interested in the Citroen's because they use the same engines so they tend to suffer the same fates, I went for the petrol 3.0 exe 2005 estate SW model then recently saw the Citroen version and its almost exactly the same apart from the badge Quote
coastline taxis Posted July 24, 2009 Author Posted July 24, 2009 suppose petrols ok for you old timers as the power of these common rail would probally be to much for yous. Get a diesel man you cant beat them Quote
techbod Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 well you know me by now and the diesel isn't on my list I like silent running and this is really silent and powerful Quote
DaveHerns Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Is it the same V6 as in the XM as weren't they a heap of trouble ? Citroen now do a 2.7 diesel and have dropped the petrol V6 from the new C5 Quote
techbod Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 the 3.0 v6 isn't like the XM by any means its an all new unit which came out in 2005 as did the car and it was a prototype that made it to the road toboot and I really don't know why they abandoned it in favour of the 2.7 diesel which is not as good on fuel as you might think ( more power = more thirsty ) I don't like diesels but that's my personal choice of course  .
