Guest mildoo Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 I bought a 2003 saxo a couple of months ago as a run around and have just discovered every time it rains the boot is soaking wet and runs through to the back seats. can anyone please tell me firstly what the cause is and secondly how do i fix it. paul.h Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 I do not know about the Saxo but I have had other cars where the seals around the rear lights to the body have let rain through. Solution was to remove them, clean up the seals and refit with some silicon sealant smeared over the seal. Also worth a check the lights are fitting correctly and no bits broken off/cracked. Quote
Johndouglas Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 I've got a '98 Saxo and it's bone dry. But as paul.h says check the light surrounds. I used to have a P205 and rain poured in around the rear lights. Quote
