Guest ChrisW Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Hi, I had a car park bump in our 2008 citroen C3 cool 1.4 petrol, in metallic light blue. The rear passenger side door as a bump in it and had a scrape, T cut managed to get rid of the scrape and I'm not too bothered about the bump as it is hardly visible. However below the door there is a huge dent and a few nasty scrapes. This location is hard to explain it is directly below the door in front of the rear wheel arch but not on the panel that forms the wheel arch. I think it will be expensive to fix, does anyone have any suggestions of how this can be fixed? Could it be filled and sanded and painted? Is a new panel required? If anyone wants I could maybe upload a photo on the web and post it here. Any help would be much appreciated! ThanksCW Quote
Johndouglas Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 You could try a company similar to this one:- http://www.dentdevils.co.uk/home.php Google "Paintless dent repairs" and lots will come up. Quote
paul.h Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 On a 2 year old car I would have the repair done properly by a Citroen approved or insurance approved body shop to maintain any warranties and future resale value. We had a repair which may be a bit similar on a C4 and that was about £300. Go to such a place and ask for a quote or even consider an insurance claim. Quote
