Abs Fault

My Abs breaking system is faulty (esp/asr also) can anyone help me with a fix for this problem please - and as inexpensive as possible please!!!!

I think you will need a diagnostic check to read the abs fault code to see what is wrong as opposed to replacing parts on a hit and miss basis. I take it the abs light is not going out or is coming on when moving.

Please describe the fault in more detail if you want help that is relevant.

 

Is the light or warning on all the time? What sort of condition is the battery in?

 

Which model and year of C5?

Hi the warning lights are on all the time - there is (only sometimes) a clunking noise when I brake as if the abs is trying to work - then doesn't and the warning comes on my display but the warning lights are already on- the battery is in good condition and it is a 2.2hdi Exclusive auto Dec 2002 - I live in the Highlands of Scotland (Inverness) and yes the auto gearbox fault seemed to sort itself when the diaphram was changed. No further problems with that issue.

Sorry to bring an old thread alive.

 

I am having the same problem with a 2.0L diesel 2001 C5. The problem is intermitant for me.

A bit more info needed on your symptoms that make you think there is a problem.
