Johndouglas Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 can't hear it. So if the lift pump isn't running, fuel isn't getting up to the engine. Quote

Johndouglas Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 do you know how to fix it?. The lift pump is in the fuel tank. You'll find it under the rear seat. Look for a big plastic bung which needs to be prised out. Check that there's power there when the ignition is switched on. If there is and the pump doesn't work, it probably needs changing. Disconnect the fuel lines and the electrical connector. The pump is held in by a collar. Quote

paul.h Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 When you say 'lost all power' - is this just the engine not running or do you also have no electrical power ? What electrical equipment is still working, does the starter motor turn over, etc ? Quote
