    Hi

Hi and welcome, great choice of car! but i may just be biased :P cant go wrong with a C4
  5. That is a bit too far to be honest. Also i just found out that we are going up to romford on thursday to look at a black 1.4 VTR. I am interested in a diesel. (because i will soon end up paying for petrol :P ) That reminds me......i better get the tints, alloys etc etc before i end up paying for petrol :D :D . ..........anyway, back to the matter at hand, i dont think that it will be a go to be honest, a bit too far and also about a day late. But maybe the one in romford will be a pig.........(now that i now the faults to look out for i can give the salesman a run for his money B) :D :D ) Im sure that it wont be too hard to sell, great economy, awesome car (biased?........me? :P ), looks to kill, good value ect ect
  6. My father is the one who is dealing with the purchase (quite rightly too, his money, his rules). I think that he is interested in a C4 somewhere not too far from here, i THINK that we may be going up there on the weekend so i am not too sure. What does the diesel sound like? because i LOVED the sound of the 1.4 petrol (for what it was! :P ) I will mention it to him. Also i have never seen a red one yet, i would need to see a red one b4 i got one! Where do you live?
  7. I have found that the car will lock itself if i have not got it, but because you were in the car that cant be the case. I sometimes have trouble with the boot, i found that if you pull it and it does not open, i just leave it for a sec, then open it, rather than tugging it endlessly! :P
  8. :P I can understand that they NEED to park there, even though it was so hard for them( :D )! but they were travelling together!! :D
  9. That is great! :P (not the first bit though :D )
  10. That is utter insanity! How could that happen! :P Is there a brain cell between them? Move the Fuckin* Xsara!!! OMG!!! I nearly died of shock when i was them get in the damn Xsara! :P
  11. :D
  12. No, one ding from the driveway, which is not uncommom (everyone in the family has had a scratch/dent etc from the driveway! It is stupid that we have 4 cars in it, but there is nothing that we can do about it) and the accident, not down to my maneuverability skills. Everyone who has seen me get out of our drive, move cars around for them, get in tight spaces etc etc has commented about my maneuverability being great. Best ever was a builder, i got blocked in at the vets, my mum said that it was not possible to get out, so she offered help (after nigh on demanding to get the van moved! which i also refused), i said "NO"! I looked at it for a second, got in the car, got out the space in a flash (with a smug look on my face directed to my mum :P :D ) A builder (incidently the one who blocked me in!) came over and said "You did that really well mate!" Our gardener still cant believe the spaces i can get my dads jag (s-type) in! :D I always blow his mind!! :D  Sometimes i think that he enjoys it! :P Oh and a friend was in the car with me, and i spotted a space to parrallel park, pulled up and made it in one maneuver and he said "Now that is a great parallel park!!" i have been maneuvering big cars since i was about 15. If my Dad trusts me to maneuver his 3rd child then thats all the defence i need!! He has a scratch that is bloody impossible to see, and he is getting it fixed at a cost! At least that my dent WAS visible to others (just :P )
  13. Yes they did, would most likely have saved the passenger from serious injury or even death!
  14. I park in public car parks all the time, never had a problem. They only parking faux paux was coming out of our drive. Having four cars in a two car driveway is not a great situation! (jag and a land rover being two of them! They take up way more room than allowed! :P ) Hit a damn gate post :P Resulted in a small dent on the rear left wheel arch, noboby noticed it except me! Had to get it fixed :D
  15. I am from the sussex, the car is from Manchester. My dad was going to a business trip in Scotland, he took a flight the day before the meeting to Manchester, bought the car, flew to Scotland and went to the meeting. May sound like a waste of money (flights and stuff), but because it was a business trip, his company payed for it :D :P It it hard to see how that C4 got the scrapes on the side :P Did the driver scrape something whilst parking?? I am having trouble understanding how it got the scrapes on it from the apparant accident  Oh and the most expensive thing about my car was the airbags, they said £1000 a bag.
  16. Even though i owned a Oriental Blue one, and most likely will be getting a black one, i think that Grey is the nicest, i think it is the Iron Grey one.
  17. that happened to mine quite a bit...not last night when it was parked next to Hams though hence the "I hate everyone who has a VTS rant" :P but dont panic, the transforming the VTR into VTS project has begun, got a quote for the windows at dinner time...£200 and they come to you to fit them. And I am going to steal Hams wheels, he doesnt know this yet but I cant imagine there will be that much difference between locking wheel nuts tools...if there is his axles are coming off :P What is the info about the windows?? Shade?, company?, are you keeping the front windows unchanged?, getting them done to the darkest legal shade?, or going illegal? Really want window tints!
  18. Your wish is my command.......http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g262/Ciaran2903/lastscan.jpg Doesn't show the passenger side damage, which is ALL caved in!
  19. A C4 for sure, i am fine with a 1.4 VTR, that is because i am not sure of the insurance price gap between groups (including a claim). I will post the original ones now (when i say "now" i mean i will find them, scan them ect ect), they only show the frontal damage and the one side that was still perfect! :P There printer broke. They said that they would take new ones but instead moved the car to a different lot :P
  20. £8000 :D That was a shock! :P
  21. Was he wearing an Aran Knit Cardi? Nothing like stereotyping! 1 was!!! :D
  22. They have a resemblence to the "San Morcos" aftermarket alloys in the C4 accessories brochure.
  23. I am sure about the new Civic......................... ..............sure that i dont like it. and i have only seen old men driving them :P Now those babies are nice!! Would they fit a C4??
  24. Oh yes, but not this one! As a quote from "Cars" : "The 60's were hard for you weren't they!" :P
  25. WOW!!!! :) Funniest thing i have seen in a while!! Still laughing! Well i did see a VW camper van the other day at a petrol station, guy got back in it from chashier, tried to start it................... no luck, again.......no luck, third time lucky?........yes! He got started to leave when my dad got back in the car (from the cashier) and he (we) got behind it on the exit :D The second he stopped.......engine cut out! :P took him 2 times to get it going again, luckily we turned the other way!!!! :P Damn hippies!!!
