http://aycu35.webshots.com/image/10834/2004554038914940664_rs.jpg My C4 got stuck trying to get the up the hill where I live, so had to leave it at the bottom of the hill tonight. I guess it's due to the weight of the diesel and the wide tyres as an N-reg Honda Civic got up the hill with no problems.
  2. I think that is c14vts. My neck does not reach that far from Oxfordshire. That rhymes too! Should have been a poet!
  3. Should you have a new pic of your car then?
  4. Clarkson likes the C4, which is one reason I got one.
  5. I've been robbed !
  6. £243.00
  7. Yes, was serviced the week after christmas.
  8. Thanks guys. Looks like I need to give the dealer a call. :o
  9. There is no part number on the object, and I would expect to see a marking of some kind if it was from the C4. It does seem to have slightly damaged the radiator but don't think there is any leaks. I took these pictures as this is the area where I found it. http://aycu38.webshots.com/image/9957/2002962187936016348_rs.jpg http://aycu15.webshots.com/image/8254/2002979412245622282_rs.jpg
  10. Thanks kfk ! I was hoping it was not a Citroen part. What makes you think it is? Do you think it is part of my C4 ?

  12. This afternoon I was checking my screenwasher was full and then spotted a large metal object resting near the A/C compressor. Does anyone know what it is? or where it came from? Is it a C4 part or did the dealer leave something under my bonnet? Maybe kfk will know? http://aycu02.webshots.com/image/9001/2003360801005476360_rs.jpg http://aycu38.webshots.com/image/10077/2003317175127878499_rs.jpg
  13. I had one on my Audi A4, and the turbo blew a few months later. Could have just been a coincidence.? It certainly did boost the power, and when I put I put my foot down on the motorway nothing could keep up. Also there was an increase in smoke from the exhaust after fitting on heavy acceleration. It was only a cheapo TB from eBay for about £50. :o
  14. My Citroen dealer charged me £50 to check my wheel balancing. :o They were better for a few weeks but just before I replaced the front tyres the vibration was back again at certain speeds.
  15. :D :D :D Nah... probably due to Michelins spontaneously combusting. :) Anyway, it's interesting that the C4 main shell holds up well to big crashes.
  16. Hi Mike, Got the Falken's fitted at work this afternoon by the company I posted above. So far only driven 45 miles home from work, so they are still running in. My main point was that my wheel balancing is great with no vibration from steering wheel which seems to be a big problem with the C4 as the regular tyre dealers seem incapable of balancing them properly. The tyres have good reviews including this one.. "mercedes c 55AMG - 245/35/18 - This is the best tire for limited budget. Yes I know expensive car low cost tires but I had Bridgestones also. There is no big difference for me. Falken suprised me good." Make sure you get the FK-452. The Michelins are good but overpriced, as you are paying a lot just for the brand name. Michelin = £300 Falken FK-452 = £166
  17. Had my new tyres fitted by event-tyres.co.uk as above and the wheel balancing seems perfect now. The tyres are Falken - 205/50 R17 [93W] - FK-452 and total cost £165.68 I chose the tyres as this one gets some good reviews and nearly half the price of Michelins. Reviews here http://www.1010tires.com/tire.asp?tirebran...iremodel=FK-452 I am well happy.
  18. I am having new front tyres fitted at work tomorrow by http://www.event-tyres.co.uk/ They claim to be able to balance Citroens...... "All our vehicle carry a special adaptor that allows us to balance centre less wheels found on many Renault (Rubbish), Citroen and Peugeot cars." I have always had problems with wheel balancing, so it will be interesting to see if they do a good job.
  19. This has been discussed before many times. The servicing must use genuine Citroen parts. You will not get any notification of recalls, as often only the dealer has the details, as kfk has mentioned before.

    Speeeeed!

Are there any computer/console racing games with a C4 yet? Does anyone know?
  21. Yeh, can just imagine Citroen saying, 'don't worry it's just your front wheel falling off, they all do that after a while'.
  22. Mine fold in, and fully electrically adjustable, so surely must have all the motors?
  23. I would say the front and rear parking sensors would be both useful, if not essential. The C4 is the only car I have ever driven that has poor visibility of both ends. I have never had to park my car on a street yet.
  24. Yes, it's all very confusing, but had it confirmed from dealer when I bought mine, so was very happy to hear it's 20,000 for mine as do that in a year. All the other diesels apart from 2.0HDi are every 12,500 i think ??? I thought all petrols were 20,000 for service?
  25. Try using the search function, as this was done to death a while back, and even had a poll. http://www.citroenpicasso.org.uk/citroen/i...ic=1555&hl=
