I am thinking of installing the Blaupunkt CD/MP3 that I fitted in my Audi A4, into my C4 as it will be the best, and cheapest way to play MP3's. It also has the AUX2 3.5mm cable for an Ipod etc. I can get the steering control and aerial adapter from www.bluespot.co.uk. Would this invalidate the Citroen car warranty in any way?

No, thats not my Reg plate, but it would be a good one to have. Don't think I would ever get a personal plate, as I like to be in stealth mode when on the roads. Don't want the law remembering my plate number :rolleyes:

Thanks for all your comments. I finally did the dirty deed today, and got myself an ex-demo C4 VTS HDi :blink: I take delivery next saturday. Original one I wanted was sold this week. Test drove one yesterday, but it did not feel right. It was another ex-demo car. This one I have bought today drove so much better, and I just knew that this was my car! It has full leather heated seats which are very comfortable. It will be goodbye to my old Audi A4 with nearly 200,000 miles on the clock :rolleyes: I did not bother testing other makes of car! I knew the VTS was for me, but needed to find the right one. Maybe I will post some pics of new purchase next week :D

Just wondered why you C4 owners bought the C4 instead of a Focus or some other car? What made you decide to definitely buy ? Do you prefer 3 door Coupe or 5 door ? Also, do the Diesels get quieter after they have a higher mileage, like over 10,000 miles, and does a new car generally get smoother to drive?

How good is the basic radio fitted as standard, and is it replaceable with an aftermarket unit, such as Sony, and is there adapters to make it work with the Citroen steering controls ?

The way I see it, the JBL radio looks the same as in any other UK model C4 I have seen, apart from the JBL logo, and in my case, the Bluetooth logo. I thought the JBL bits was just the amplifier under the front seat, and subwoofer in the boot. I will ask the dealer when I get the car. Thanks :D

I will soon be getting a C4VTS with JBL HiFi and Bluetooth installed by factory. Will this play MP3's ? Brochure states MP3 is not possible with Bluetooth, but is this something I can get changed by dealer programming if I don't want to use the Bluetooth function, or is it a hardware issue ? Am I just going to end up with a 9706AG cable ?
