That's interesting Lee, and you are probably right, as it does not always vibrate at the same speed every time, as sometimes it is fine with no real vibration. I could be doing 75mph with vibration, then slow down to 50mph, then back to 75mph with no vibration for a short while, then it will come back again. Weird. I will not be buying Michelins when these wear out. I think there is about 4mm left on the fronts at 18,000 miles.

My other jobs list that need fixing:- 1) Auto headllights/Guide me home option missing from menu. 2) Rattle from nearside front. 3) No Picture of car when Tyre pressures low to show which tyre. 4) Suspect water leak onto front passenger mat. 5) Anti-pinch on front windows causing windows to not shut at speed. 6) Boot does not always spring fully open. 7) Steering vibration between 65 and 80MPH (Had wheels balanced) Those are ones I can think of so far. I still have no visual warning of reverse sensors, and been told not possible by 2 dealers, maybe they will tell me I can't have the visual tyre pressure warning either? So won't be too happy if it should be there?

Hi Rich, Have booked mine in for Friday :) Also getting some other things sorted I hope. :( One reason I got the VTS was for the headlamp washers, as dead handy when all that salt is on the road in coming winter weather. Nothing worse than having to stop during a journey to clean your lights as you can't see where you are going. Alright for you city boys with your fancy streetlights. :D

Found this answer on a site selling HID kits....... Are these HID systems road legal? According to EU legislation HID systems factory fitted from new require a self levelling system and a lens washer to be fitted. However this is not specified for aftermarket kits. Our kits have passed all safety and emmissions tests and produce the correct light pattern. We know they will pass an MOT (original bulbs can be reinstalled in minutes if required without uninstalling the HID system). We are not aware of any legality issues in terms of the police. However this issue is a grey one with lots of confusion so until we can obtain official written proof either way, we must sell these for off road and display systems only.

These HID Kits have been around for ages on eBay. You might want to check your standard wiring is capable of taking the extra power needed first. There is no requirement for headlamp washers or self levelling suspension on aftermarket kits.

I wish to add my support to wozza, whom i have actually met and does know what he is talking about. Anyone that thinks an Alfa Romeo is better than a C4 has a screw loose, and that is not a personal comment, but based on fact, that anything made by Alfa Romeo is less reliable than any Citroen. :D

The keys look very well made to me, and no different to my old Audi Key, so can't see how it would just fall apart.

Thanks, will get it checked at the dealer ASAP as should be under warranty.

How would I know if the pipes have split? How can I examine the washers in more detail, as they only appear when you activate the washer? Is there a way of making them stay out, so I can check them?

Just checked my headlamp washers operation, and they just seem to spray all the water downwards onto my driveway, and very little water actually reaches the headlights. My driveway is now extremely wet with puddles. Is this correct or is something wrong?

MP3 CD playing needs to be standard, as that is biggest problem with the C4.

The brakes are the best of any car I have driven on the C4. -
406 ? You are having a laugh. Very old technology.....just ancient really... Would be like driving a Model-T Ford compared to a C4 ;) Don't do it !!!!
-
Not again ! :D Why don't you stick it on eBay ?

I use my climate control nearly all the time as it stops the windows misting up in the cold damp weather.

So in the TV ad...why do they not show the C4 driving on ice instead of the robot? Maybe everyone would try and copy the advert by driving like nutters on ice maybe ? -
I guess it's just a copy of the official 9706AG and he will put what ever connectors you want on the end. Don't know if 9706AG will work with JBL ?

I wouldn't buy a car just for pleasure in the UK. Not many places you can drive and enjoy it without worry of speeding fines. Not unless you are a sunday afternoon driver that never breaks the speed limits. :o -

I set my speed limiter to 95 on motorways, as anything from 79 to 95 will get you a fixed penalty 3 points and £60 fine, so I may as well get value for money :o 96 and over is a court appearance job and serious cash and points fine. Guess what, my current 3 points was for 95 in a 70 :o (Not in the C4) I think the government are changing the rules sometime next year though. -

Must have been tricky driving at 35mph as well as taking the photo and watching the road...or was the car written off after that shot? :o :o -
To think that those people actually have driving licences
