Should not affect the warranty. Either way if it does it will only affect the impact it has the brakes which arent covered under warranty anyway. However if you have not had the brake recall thing done on the rears etc try getting citroen to replace it all for free.

If they have to be replaced so often maybe better going for some upgraded discs and pads they may last a bit longer at least. As every 20k seem a bit daft saying that though my last almera needed all 4 dics and pads replacing after 26k

The vauxhall sports hatch is fairly close i think. That was the only other car i really looked at properly when getting mine. However against the VTS theres quite a lot of performance hatches that are better drivers and have stronger engines. you can pick up a megane 225 for around £14k now the normal one is a bit ugly and i hate the rear but the 225 is actually quite nice. But still i love my C4 and it does get a fair bit of attention. Like the fact i just got home and the TT driver next to me at the lights was having a good look over it.

The only problem with it would be the cost. Its gonna be £30k at least im betting £40k would be a more like it though. Not many people are going to want to spend than on a Citroen.

I never look at these reviews because there stupidly biased. BMW's always come out top same as mercedes etc yet everyone knows the problem mercedes have with build quality now. Not the same cars they were 10+ years ago. Plus the C4 is the safest car in the class so shouldnt safety have got a higher rating than..reasonable id like to see what they gave the focus in that section since the C4 scored higher points in the ncap tests.

The gearbox is the new paddleshift one 6 speed sequential auto thing. Gives better fuel economy whilst losing no performance over the manual version. And the cool spec is basically SX spec with auto wipers / lights and climate control. So giving some of the gadgets the VTR+ / VTS people have. No external upgrades or anything else really though. still only got the smaller 16" alloys etc.

Theres a couple been done with VTS / GTI lumps good thing about the 1.6 lump is its quite tunable. Best off asking at the ax owners club about things like this sure they will be able to help you out a bit more. http://www.axownersclub.com/ Weight wise the AX is lighter than the saxo so the 1.6 VTS lump will make it rather quick on its own. But as said the engine is quite tuneable not too difficult to get 150bhp+ out of it theres a few on the other side of 200bhp.

Went and had a look today in the light looks great. cant tell i ever had any big dents scratches anywhere looks really good. And the side rub strips make the car seem very different when you look at it such a small thing makes a big difference its strange.

Well not had my car really since thursday as it went in very early friday morning to the bodyshop to have the repairs done. As a result i have been driving a Chevrolet Tacuma 2.0 auto for the last few days my god is that a ***oops*** car! Same bodyshop as i used before and you know its always a good site when you turn up to a bodyshop and there repairing a £100k Merc AMG SL 55 (didnt know they were that much!) And sat next to that is white impreza looks nice on the outside big wheels huge breaks then look into the cabin full roll cage proper rally flocked dash type thing full adustment of diffs etc from the dash can be done as well as suspension and engine mapping all at flick of a switch or knob lol. Spoke to some of the guys about it total cost to built said impreza....£300,000 so far. Anyways guys did a great job on the repairs fro what i have seen had xenon torch on it and had a look under garage light literally only just got back a short while ago was supposed to be done for 8 tonight but when i got there they were still polishing the car up and fitting some of the extra bits i asked to get done. Now have colour coded sidestrips and had my A and B pillar trims done to match the spoiler and windscreen surround....and im loving the result yes i know its only what VTS owners have and only small changes but i like it. Will post some pics in the light tomorrow but so happy to have my own car back how the hell do peopel drive MPV's? I couldnt put up with the handling after an hour it drove me nuts all weekend understeer crazy and everytime i went round a slightly sharpe bend above 20 i felt like i was gonna be on the side any second. Not a nice car to drive.

The petrol C4's may not have as much torque but what they do have is available from 2000rpm so there not gutless at low speeds. Hit 4000rpm though and the power kicks in and they do take off then. And the n/a MR2's do need to be grabbed by the scruff of there neck since the power is up at 7000rpm. Thats the case with most small size high output engines that are n/a. The turbo variant which was import only is more drivable because of the extra torque the turbo gave and much quicker with at least 220bhp. Non turbo diesels are painful to drive though so bloody slow.

I just got home been out drinking but wasnt that drunk but rather bored so came on comp posted a couple things then went and watched a film (Mallrats ace film!) But if you look you will find a lot of my posts are late at night / morning i dont sleep much.

Last time someone described the connection it sounded like a PC molex type plug maplins do have tools available to pop these out and there not much couple quid.
