ive noticed that it does move under its own steam, no gas clutch up. Thought it was a bit weird that it accelerates like that.

I think it is just general judder, eaxctly if you are co,img to a stop in fifth. Its the car telling you to give it more gas...

How about Saturday 2nd September, its just after most peoples pay days so money should be fine. Just need to come up with a venue. The quad place I mentioned is next to the national watersports centre so is easy to find from the M1.

yours is black so it may well be reflecting the heat onto the sensor more than most...mine normally drops about 10 degres when driving around

it doesnt have a tracker but it made the kid shut up :lol: I am not going to pay £300+ for a tracker for it not to bring my insurance down

I think the heat is a bit of a factor as it is glued onto the screen and hooked in... just nipped out to mine and the temp gauge was showing 42 degrees!! :lol: it has been sat in the sun all day though

When I took out my insurance I got a proper wheeler dealer Essex bloke. He desperatly wanted me to sign up there and then I assume they work on commision he gave me a direct line to him...the deal he offered was really good so I did sign up. See if he can do a better deal this year.

I can confirm that it is indeed covered under warranty (mine was replaced last week) It took ages for the parts to arrive though...

that one on sky one is very random!! the episode I saw was 2 cars covered in fur and they chased each other, it was meant to be cat and mouse but it didnt work... the VTS/VTR+ wasnt massivly clear but it was in the background parked on a drive...very nerdy I know but I dont car :lol:

I was watching Pulling Power ( a car show on ITV) the other night and they where reviewing the new 207. The bloke was talking about all the new features. The first thing he mentioned was the innovative indicators mounted below the wing mirors, at this point look outside at your cars wing mirrors... notice something?? he then continued to go through stuff he then pointed out the unique air vents that you can put in fragrances to keep the car smelling nice again go to your car and have a look at your vents...again notice anything?? This show is meant to be a contender to Top Gear and Fifth Gear...oh how I laughed...that was it really. also did anyone else notice the VTS on Dr Who a couple of weeks ago??

thats the noise me and welsh have...I think it is the gearbox knocking against the exhaust but im not sure...4th gear at 25mph and blip the throttle will replicate it...incase you need to show a tech...

I frigin hate chavs!! normally I would cover myself by saying sorry if it offends etc but if you are a chav you dont deserve a C4....so there. I had an awesome conversation with a chav, he couldnt be a day over 12 bear in mind. He was telling me all about how he was going to nick the motor. It went something a bit like this, He was going to smash the window but I told him that that would set the alarm off, then he started talking about drilling the lock, I pointed out the fact that it doesnt have visable locks....after about 5 minutes of him talking a load of old boll*cks I pointed out that in the off chance that he did get it off the drive I would activate the tracker and the fuzz would be on him in no time at all....I then drove off laughing :blink:

like I said earlier Rob, it looks like it is cars up to 06' so you may well get a letter soon. I booked mine in yesterday and recived the letter telling me about it this morning so it looks like the ball is rolling now...

I think we should go late August, weather will still be good then...

quick update on XYJ...it looks like its affecting most of the early cars (up to 55 plates) according to the bloke at Citroen. Goes in next wednesday

hehe we have 4 identical Skoda octavias and it is always fun to watch the guys trying to open the wrong car...makes me giggle everytime.

oh yeah!! mine has the same knocking noise that Welsh's has. That is the gearbox mountings being a bit crap so it is hitting the exhaust....if mine needs the recall I will get them to sort that.

we are the biggest C4 forum I could find so they may do... tinkling noise??
