I dont think I will have them in time to be honest. Like I said before if it looks like yours in that picture I can live with that. Nothing is going to be done before the meet, insurance is due on the 2nd so the meet will be done on credit card for me. Bless you Capital One, bless you :P

if it looks like that I dont mind, mind you the suspension settings on our cars should be the same in theory...I cant imagine that Citroen have different suspension on all the models...

Project VTS has hit a problem. I have run out of money. I spoke to Cituning about having the car lowered to fit the VTS wheels (basically to stop it looking like a 4x4) and they want £200 for 30mm drop springs they are Eibach so the make is reliable but I cant justify the money to be honest. By the time I have bought the wheels, tyres and springs it will be cracking on for £700. So the shopping list now reads:- Wheels and tyres £500 approx Lowering springs £200 Window tints £200 Pillars spraying £100 approx anyone want to give me money??

I will see how much it is before I go and fill it with V power. Ultimate is about 105 per litre but Sainsburys Super is 95.6 and it feels the same and every time I use my Necter card I get something free...I think it might be busted but in a good way :lol:

the stock speakers do the job in the car. If I want sound quality I will use the stereo in the house, but as you say it will make a load of difference in yours...

I have come to a conclusion...sound deadening is only needed on 1 of my CD's. So I will just have to put up with it when I listen to that CD.

yaeh a new dash would be much moolah...and the labour costs to fit it must be astronomical. It cant be a quick or easy job all things considered...

in responce to the tints thing, I am undecided wether to go for light smoke or light black. I am swaying towards black at the moment and it will be matching all round including the back windows. Ham, you know I am the voice of reason!! do it, you know you want to. Get rid of those boy racer wheels. I have already been tared with that brush so it doesnt bother me :lol:

the cosmetic stuff doesnt look that bad really but as people have said it is the airbags that have made it a write off...you will be needing new seats and probably a whole new dash too...

thats not a bad offer at all, I have just had a look on Autotrader and there is a 1.6 VTR+ for 8K... not sure declining the offer will do much good really, not sure though never had to claim.. come on Ciaran I want to see pictures man PICTURES!!

that happened to mine quite a bit...not last night when it was parked next to Hams though hence the "I hate everyone who has a VTS rant" :P but dont panic, the transforming the VTR into VTS project has begun, got a quote for the windows at dinner time...£200 and they come to you to fit them. And I am going to steal Hams wheels, he doesnt know this yet but I cant imagine there will be that much difference between locking wheel nuts tools...if there is his axles are coming off :P

welsh, if I stick the 17's off the VTS on it will need dropping about 30-40mm I reckon. I had'nt thought about lowering it to accomodate for the bigger wheels until I saw on Corsa on 16's last night and the gap between the wheels and the arches was big enough to climb into. I dont want it sitting on the floor for practicality... The new civic...I really cant make my mind up about it...on the pictures it looks OK but I want to see one in the metal and in full production readiness so we not it really looks like

as you know I have been thinking about getting the VTS alloys for a while now and that has convinced me to get them, but as you say I will have to have the suspension lowered otherwise it will be riding as high as a 4x4 and look as daft as some of the corsa's that where out last night!! The integra we saw last night was very nice indeed but I know what you mean about the insurance!! I could have a standard Impreza STI for about the same moeny...
