  1. Not only exclusives with the hydractive suspension on the mk3 vtr with auto box's have it aswell.
  2. Sounds like the hight sensor linkage snapped on the one you test drove. My car had a similar sounding crazy suspension moment following a clonk as the sus went up.
  3. Hi if it is your rack input seal like mine was finding a used rack is hard i couldnt find one anyway. The recon rack i got from acs power steering was the correct one it arrived the next day and is still working with no leaks. Think it was £260 in the end compared to 1k for a new one from citroen id say it was a bargain. Easiest way to see for definate of the input seal is leaking is to remove the cover in the foot well and have a look. You can grope around through the wheel well but if its as bad as mine was the fluid is allover the the shop.
  4. My mk3 tourer has done 20k on a set of continental sport contact 3 and has about 2mm left so not far of change time. They are quieter and more comfortable than the bridgestone potenza ones that it had when i brought the car.
  5. My c5 has auto lights and auto dash dimming that occasionally gets confused, especially when its not fully dark and going under trees. Dash appears to turn off and on again.
  6. I take it the new wheels dont have the pressure sensors fitted. Will just give bong on start up and the service indicator will remain illuminated. Thats what my 08 tourer does anyway older cars may do something slightly more annoying. Lexia can disable it completely i think. The nav in mine updates from cd which reminds me i should look at doing it soon.
  7. Just a little update after cycling the suspension a few times and cleaning everything up the leak appears to have stopped. Will keep an eye on it though.
  8. Have a hunt around im sure ive seen led bulbs with the resistor built in for this veryreason. Search stop tail led canbus on ebay you'l see loads to choose from.
  9. One on ebay right now http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261444579538?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_sacat%3D0%26_from%3DR40%26_nkw%3D261444579538%26_rdc%3D1
  10. Newer ones the radio can be turned on without the key. As long as economy mode isnt on.
  11. Mystery fix. Sounds like the ecu just spat its dummy at something lord knows what though.
  12. Hi i changed the rack myself have put a couple of thousand miles on it and no leaks. I re used the original o rings even tho i had some generic o rings to replace them with if they did leak. Double check that the rack they have fitted isnt a dud and leaking from the input again. Either reaching up and feeling it or by removing the cover in the footwell and looking in. Also i had to mop up and clean alot of oil from on and in the subframe before i put it all back together so i didnt have to chase phantom leaks.
  13. So many things it could be with not many clues to go on. A few simple things to check would be Split or disconnected boost hose. Brakes binding. Get it plugged in to lexia see if any codes are coming up for dud sensors or daft readings for temp and o2 levels etc.
  14. Carry on using the spare until you replace the punctured tyre. Just replace with the same size that is already on it. Ideally the same make and type as whats on the other side if your near the wear limit on the old tyres replace as a pair.
  15. Not had a proper look at removal yet but didnt look like youd need to remove the drive shaft.
  16. Definitely leaking as in dripping into the wheel.
  17. My front left hand suspension unit has developed a leak from under the bellows. Suspect seals have gone anyone had to change one of these yet and any idea where to get one? Also how much?
  18. Cw ccw he is referring to clock wise counter clockwise so yup youve got it right.
  19. Ive had a stereo that just didnt like my phone took updating the software in the stereo and on the phone to sort it out.worked fine with other phones.
  20. Have you tried it with a phone other than the i phone?
  21. The leaking steering pipes can turn out to be the rack input seal. Replacement rack is the only fix i could find. Region of 2-300 for a recon rack+labour and lds fluid.
  22. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/mot-special-notice-01-14 This is the relevant additions relating to dpf and cats. The updates are in the mot standards linked above even tho the edition etc says april 13
