coastline taxis Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Re my earlier listing about c5 autobox al4 type. it drove perfect again today the when warmed up it goes into automatic gear fault. Today though it is showing up a fault on the ethos scanner. It say the code is p2202. I cant find this code anywhere phoned dealers and they said they would try and find out. Anybody had this code before or any ideas as to what it might be. Quote
paul.h Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Just tried a google search on fault code p2202 and it came back with NOx sensor low input so this would be something on the exhaust if it applies in this case. Quote

coastline taxis Posted July 8, 2008 Author Posted July 8, 2008 Which computer are you getting the fault code in?its a snapon ethos scanner with the s key. it works fine on all the c5s i have and has been accurate in the codes it has shown in the past It gives you the choice of trouble codes, engine management, suspension, abs, air bags and transmission you choose wich section you want i choose transmission it then comes up with a choice of serial numbers for the boxes then it showes the fault codes for the box wich was showing p2202. if i was to change it to manual would the ecu show up fault codes with not getting a signal back from the gearbox and put the car in limp modemany thanks steve Quote
