Front Brake Pads

Hi there, my front brake pads need replacing on 02 C5

2.0 hdi, when checking around I found so many different makes, grades, prices, now have become very confused , which set do I fit? . Have seen sets on ebay from £17 upwards .

 

Any advise on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Is it advised to miss unbranded makes?

If you can buy them once you have one off the car, you will be able to see the original make which is stamped on the metal backing - I think they are Textar or maybe Ferodo, can not remember which. with any other make you will not know how well they will perform.

Hi mintex or quinten hazel seem to do me fine although in the past ive even went to dealers you pay more but they do last longer and when your hurdling down the road at seventy and you need to stop then maybe the extra you pay at dealers becomes worth it.

Mintex £22 as good if not better than the ones made by Citroen £56 + vat from the dealers

 

ps: Citroen don't make break pads lol :D
