Guest C5 Tourer Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I bought my C5 Tourer under warranty in May 2010. Its the first time I've had a car with an automatic electric parking brake. This is playing up- registering 'parking brake fault' on the display and disabling the cruise control at the same time. What to do? Quote
paul.h Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 You will have to go back to the dealer and have it sorted under the warranty. Quote
Randombloke Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 I have been getting intermittent Auto Parking Brake Off warnings on the dash. When this happens, the system also gives me a "Parking Brake Faulty" via the warning system, the parking brake still works, but the auto hill start no longer works, and I suspect the driving away to provoke the handbrake to go off will no longer work either. There are no other problems, and the ASR/ESP warning is not on, so I can assume all the clever sensors working with that are fine. Hard to get it looked as as the warning can appear whilst driving, and also disappear whilst driving too. The handbrake works as expected otherwise. Any clues? Quote
coastline taxis Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 the fault will be stored in the ecu and lexia will tell you Quote
