  1. price is aboiut right as it will be a dual mass flywheel. Its a bit of a grey area because you could really just replace the slave cylinder and the job would be fine and the car run ok. On the other hand it is common practice to replace all of the clutch parts when doing any one part of it.. and the garage is right there are no codes for a slave cylinder malfunction
  2. close the the latch while leaving the boot open ( use a screwdriver and just push the latch levers ). now try to unlock the boot if it dosnt work then youve got a wireing issue or a broken boot lock
  3. put the top stretch of the belt back under the tensioner instead of a straight run
  4. to keep it short and sweet yes you can. but you run the rish of the hanbrake motors siezing up thru not being used
  5. the fault will be stored in the ecu and lexia will tell you
  6. thats the right way youve got there. the guide just above the ac unit is adjustable also just a allen key and itl turn upward for the shorter belt
  7. check that theres nothing jamed ito the slam plate were the boot lock latches into
  8. the tank is plastic so once you take the circular ring of and remove the sender unit screw the black retaining ring back on as the tank can start to deform itself and youl never get the gauge back in
  9. it really wont make much difference just put any hdi 2 litre turbo on from a 90 or a 110. very rare they go on the 2 litre so id replace the oil feed pipe aswell as oil anf filter change
  10. a hammer and chisel and tap the inside of the bearing.
  11. blue in colour and must have oat,s compatible on the label and you want 2 litre,s of it
  12. if there was no oil to the turbo it would blow and the engine would runaway. check it out on u tube.
  13. check the top of the injectotor. theres 2 cut outs where the retaining clips slot into
  14. i would think that if the oil pipe to the turbo was blocked or restricted then it would blow the turbo. i wouldnt wast your time there start checking for split air pipes to and from the turbo
  15. Change the coolant as its only got a certain life span. Wont hurt to put a flush through it aswell
  16. well after 2 years its not going to help matters and must be changed. Remove top engine cover 4 x plastic clips As you look down on the engine you want to be looking at 6 oclock. youle see a blck circular lump of plastic with 2 or 3 pipes going into it. if it has 2 pipes then youl see a plastic 27mm nut right in the center of of it. disconect the 2 pipes by pushing the plastic clips(either green or red irc) on the end of the pipe in and pulling pipe away. next pt socket on the nut and turn and the top of the filter housing will come away. replace with new filter and reverse the above procedure. once done put ignition on for 10 seconds ( do this a few times) to purge the air out. If it has 3 pipes going into it then you need a special tool to remove the filter people sometimes use a hammer and chisel and some times it works and sometimes it smashes the filter housing so the choice is yours if you want to try it. do the above procedure but where you come to using a socket you need istead to remove the corrogated ring on the outside top of the filter. put chisel (blunt) or screwdrivet and gently tap with a hammer till its slack enough to turn by hand. the filters are different so youl have to check and i strongly advise against using anything other than the right removal tool.
  17. Check the cable from the pedal to the throttle pot and also for signs of anything fouling the throttle pot
  18. And that is exactly the way its meant to be done well done. Amount needed is 1.9 litres on a 2 litre box but e just put the full 2 litres in
  19. If your not sure then id just put the car into a local garage and get a full service done on the engine.
  20. Go back into special functions on the verdict and see if the car will let you do a forced regeneration. make sure that your cooling fan is working and that the timing belt isnt due for change and that the engine oil is good before doing it. if it wont alow it to regenerate the verdict will tell you the reason why. try both static and dynamic modes for the regenration
  21. hi nd. please check your message box ive sent you a pm
  22. the wires are numbered so take the number of the switch wire and follow it
  23. yes as it wont have the same viscosity and wont throw the clutches out to engage drive
  24. has yours got the climate control with the electric motors to control the air direction as these are a very common fault and do exactly what yours is doing when they break
  25. if its a al4 type box it must have the correct fluid and not the red fluid the discount shops provide. the oil must be at 80 degress to ge tthe right level. think i would be getn the car lifted to the citroen dealer and get them to refil the box correctly b4 you do proper damage
