That's what I thought, but couldn't get it to work, waited over 10 mins. Got out of the car, and GPS was locked on within seconds....bizarre really. Yes, also quite strange that my Bluetooth GPS receiver works perfect when in the glovebox, Usually locks within 2 minutes. ;)

The same area of windscreen near the rear view mirror also works with an external GPS antenna, so if you had one for your TomTom you can fix it there with double sided tape pad thingy.
-
I use TomTom on my phone and PDA with a seperate bluetooth GPS receiver that works very well in the glovebox door pocket, but it won't work near the windscreen properly. I have tried my old Road Angel on the windscreen but it does not get a signal at all.

There are better products than Rain-X as somebody bought me one of those QVC products also many years ago, and it did actually work very well. Only problem was there were about 3 or 4 different bottles and you had to apply each one in the right order. Not sure if QVC still sell anything similar.

Gutted for you m8 ! This seems to be happening all too often these days. Too many people around with uninsured cars, and no police to enforce the laws anymore. Hope you get it patched up again without too big a dent in wallet too. :(
-
Last time I tried Rain-X was several years ago, and was not very impressed. It worked ok for about a week then after that the windscreen was all smeary and impossible to clean properly. I still have the old bottle somewhere.

It was advertised as Buy it now for £6,800 but not a proper buy it now!

That VTS is a SCAM !!!! It's way too cheap, and follows pattern of known scams. Note the yahoo email address I have seen that same car and house before somewhere !! EDIT: Now been Removed from eBay 04/12

Every little helps  Thanks for the information. Did anyone that bought from new have to specify they wanted the parking sensor display?
-
They are normally used for GPS. But China makes everything now and sells them on eBay
-
Thanks for the pic m8  Do you have both front and rear sensors?
-
Slowing down does not make the rain go away, it just gives your brain more time to concentrate on your field of vision. But yes, you should be driving slower in the rain particularly on fast roads such as motorways, to avoid aquaplaning!
-
Also would have been better if it was push down to enable and the same to disable the auto wipers.
-
Isnt the point of making them automatic making them automatic ? An automatic gearbox needs to be placed in gear before you can drive anywhere. The car does not drive away as soon as you sit in the drivers seat. :P Same principle really. The wipers are auto when you enable them in the rain. :P The gearbox is auto when you need to drive. :P

Looks good to me, apart from the pic is too big and I can't see both lights at same time. !! [EDIT] Looks like you fixed the pic size now !!
-
Why would anyone want to have the wipers permanently on auto? I don't think you would want the wipers operating if for example they are frozen to the windscreen in the morning. Wipers are only really needed when it is raining.

We need to prove that Citroen UK are not telling us the truth !! The pics are needed as evidence !!

Alloy wheels should only have stick on weights fitted, as the clip on types damage the rims and cause corrosion.
-
Thats Bull, mines got it and reversing sensors display, ill post a picture tomorrow, all done by dealer! Thanks ham... Would like to see the pic ! Some of us seem to be being fobbed off with these missing display features by the dealers.

Link is not working!

I have now tested my car on the motorway and the steering vibration has now gone, so it seems my local Citroen dealer do know what they are doing. The 17” Resolfen wheels must be tricky for some tyre dealers to put the weights in the right place, so either leave them off completely or fit in wrong position on the wheel.

The cooling fan on my Audi A4 used to be very loud when it kicked in on a hot summers day, but I got used to it.
-
I don't get any wind noise from the doors, and in fact find the car very quiet at motorway speeds. Are you sure the windows are shut properly? My passenger door sticks out slightly at the bottom but not where it meets the front wing. Never had a problem with arched lines or any other lines from the wipers. In fact the wipers are great except when they sometimes go a bit mad when it is hardly raining and stopped at lights.

Ok guys and girls just got back from dealer, but have to go back Monday as some parts are needed and not in stock. :( I need 2 new headlamp washers, as they explained to me that the seal bit had fallen out the bottom. I need 2 front shock absorbers to fix the rattle from nearside front. I need 1 replacement shock for the boot that does not spring open properly. I had the main BSI computer reprogrammed to fix the missing auto headlights menu. The water leak was caused by an incorrectly fitted plug near the heater inside the car. It was fitted upside down apparently. The steering vibration was caused by incorrect wheel balancing, and said that one weight was fitted in wrong place and another was missing even though I just had it done recently. They said to me if it is still not right they will not charge me for the balancing, so I will test it out over the weekend. They said they can't do anything about the windows not shutting properly at speed as it's caused by air pressure that affects the anti-pinch system. Oh, and the visual warning of individual tyre pressures is only on cars with a colour display. The handbook is not in colour so can't tell from that. So I am hopefully taking my C4 back on Monday to have the new parts fitted. It's a good job the car is under warranty. :o

Have heard it tosh With all the road works/ contraflows this country has I'd imagine it gets confused. Plus, if you are half asleep or not paying attention and wandering over white lines you probably should not be driving anyway! :o
