If it *did* make production looking something like that, it'll be stupidly expensive with those 20" wheels and electric rear doors! Lovin' the Photoshoppage!

Great colour for a 'Ling !
-
Euro NCAP thinks it's a good idea too. Unfortunately, a 'Ling with a hole in the roof instead of a greenhouse isn't available so equipped... :-( *400 miles covered in new HDi, and fuel gauge just below 1/2. I reckon on 600 before the yellow light goes on. *Car becoming more tractable already; much smoother than the 2.0 and far quieter, but bags of torque. *Power steering seems noisier than on the 2.0, whines a bit like my (crap) old BMW MINI did. *The newly discovered seatbelt warning tone gets progressively louder until it's deafening if you choose to ignore it! Ah! Gotcha!... The quick one! So what colour is it? And I see you have the built-in greenhouse?! ;-)
-
... But yours is a 1.6HDi ?
-
I think the manual's an interim effort. The revised rear door handle isn't covered. Note that it still covers the 2.0HDi and the 1.9D as well as the 1.6HDi92.... but not the 70bhp version! TronX

Doesn't surprise me. Even the stereo controls on the column now work differently (digitally) on the 55-reg models. this means that a non-approved 6-disc changer cannot be made to function with the head unit. Just noticed a couple more tweaks: *The seatbelt warning light is now accompanied by a three-tone warning beep when the car sets in motion. *The glovebox lid is now weighted and a fabric flap is attached behind it so that your pile of fuel receipts no longer risks getting sucked up into the heater fan. Yes, the pre facelift version is 3*. Video of crash test and details here: http://home.zonnet.nl/CitroenCrashTest/Berlingo/ The facelift offered much needed frontal strength. The previous version had good side protection for the day, (and that was without side 'bags) but poor frontal impact protection. TronX

I hope so, but I don't think so. The Berlingo is a marginal car here in the UK. In France they already offer a pseudo off-roader in the form of the XTR, but VTR and VTS models? Aginst the Berlingo's philosophy I'd have thought. The Zafira is a much more upmarket offering!
-
About bleedin' time. Shame about side impact. A good result in all though!
-
Just to confirm that the lights fitted to the latest 1.6HDi model (and I assume all other revised-spec models) are just as shite.
-
Let us know who they are, won't cha? ! TronX

Hmmmmm... Mine was a factory order; aircon *and* a plastic roof is even rarer!. They said it would take 6 weeks for delivery but it took less than 4 to land in the UK. It was a very keen deal with the £1500 off. I'd be tempted to order one and make sure that the dealer takes the risk that it'll be here on time.

.......because the other engines in the Fiat are utter shite? Have you ever *driven* one of those things? I seriously think you've got a long wait. There are already two competant diesel engines in the new line-up, so why should they introduce a third? If you really want a 110bhp why not superchip a 92? I borrowed a Superchipped (up to 130 bhp!!) 2.0HDi and it was awesome! TronX

No, leccy window operation and stereo controls as per previous version. Sunroof works without ignition on, as per my previous car, but not my old S-reg, which makes me wonder if that circuit is an add-on and ignores the multiplex.......
-
Thanks! They seem firmer.... and I don't think it's the result of the previous one having been softened by my excessive weight, but with 53,500 miles behind it I couldn't be sure! One other thing that could be my imagination but I don't think so, is the suspension appearing to be a bit softer.

First impressions, M'space Forte SR, HDi16 92bhp: http://myspace-471.vo.llnwd.net/00330/17/47/330237471_m.jpg Much quieter than the 2.0HDi, and acceleration is brisk, although I'm not going to push it for the first 3,000 miles or so. It is marginally lower-geared than the 2.0, but economy looks to be better. Cosmetic changes inside are limited to the upholstery which seems to be much more robust than the 'fishnet' design of the earlier car. Just as well. I can't begin to think of how many times I've snagged the driver's seat in my outgoing Multispace. The dashboard and dials are identcal to my old car, but the tacho is calibrated differently. In my Med blue car, the trim is a rather nice shade of blue, but the cars which are fitted with the other colour scheme now have deep charcoal grey seats, almost black, which look dead classy! All models now get 4 Airbags and ABS which should put paid to reviewers' critcisms about 'lack of safety kit as standard'. The only operational difference to the interior is a repositioning of the rear internal door handles from the button on the handle down to the door card, together with a revised catch system to keep the rear door in the open position. Externally, the rear door handle no longer moves forward. Externally, there are revised light clusters at the rear with a clear centre section and mirrored reflectors and mirrored side repeater lenses on the front wings. 15" wheeled models gain Picasso-style wheeltrims with a chromed Citroen logo in the centre, http://myspace-612.vo.llnwd.net/00330/21/69/330239612_m.jpgbut 14" versions make do with a trim similar to the vehicle it replaced. The side rubbing strips are wider, and the tacky "Multispace" badge is now on the corner of the rear door side window. There are no badges distinguishing the HDi from petrol models on the tailgate, and bizarrely, the poor old 'Lingo doesn't yet benefit from the funky stretched "Citroen" font on the rear badge, but makes do with the old '90s-style lettering. More discoveries as I discover them... Here's a pic of the old and new... http://myspace-597.vo.llnwd.net/00330/79/58/330238597_m.jpg TronX

Get it retro-fitted by a sympathetic Pug Dealer...... Pics uploading, will post soon!
-
Will oblige as soon as! Believe it or not, I can't pick it up yet because Citroen haven't contacted the ABI to get an insurance group. They've unofficially told me it's 5e, but my insurers won't take my word for it. TronX
-
It's at the dealers now..... Having a few extras fitted, so I won't see it for a week or two.......
-
I thought I did that. I'll try again....... Aha! Works in Safari, but not my old IE browser. Makes sense because it appears to be based on a Googlemap. TronX

Well, Mr.C... This shite site of yours won't accept Cheltenham, which is (as any fule kno) the centre of the civilised world. Not only that, it won't accept Gloucester or even Bristol, which is stretching the point a little bit.
-
By all accounts it's very simple. Something to do with holding the key-switch.

Christ!! Don't tell us who they are in case the Customs & Revenue are reading this. That kind of stuff's illegal y'know.
