HDI's are turbo diesels like most modern diesels. no turbo petrol engines at all there is one i know of but its been an after market job. And no turbo charging is never gonna be cheap same as its around £7000 to do a decent job on a 182 turbo conversion. think bbpt charge around that and so do ktec. mods same engine as a 206 gti 180 so anything that can be found for the pug will bolt into the C4 or the 307 gti etc. So theres a few companies about offering bits and pieces for them. Hard ot get a decent suspension setup for the C4 though i have found 1 though now. Remember the car is only 2 years old though about this time mods start showing up. Unfortunately doubt the C4 will get as popular as cliosport for a long time due to the fact there fairly rare on the road and they have not been around for over 10 years. Compared to a clio handling isnt quite as good more grippy than the clio though but you cant just hurl the C4 into a corner like you can with a clio. compared to the 182 it'd murder the C4 in everything speed handling grip etc but the 182 is one of the best fwd cars around for a reason. Build quality puts the clios to shame interior feel isnt far from VAG quality. The reason on the citroen site you didnt see the VTS180 stats is you need to click the button that say Coupe the engine only comes in the coupe. And dont insure it under your dads name we dont need more people commiting insurance fraud if you cant afford the insurance you cant afford the car.

could do around there as well harder for those down south though.

Fitting is simple can do it yourself in 30 minutes as long as you have something to bond it to the window with as the standard sticky pad isnt that great i found mine came loose twice and its not bonded to the window instead. Picked mine up for £200 though check ebay for them otherwise ask at your local dealer how much they are. They come pre painted in the black / graphite metallic colour so dont need to get it sprayed up.

Se had a black car before the paint just looks crap since my drive has a tree over it unless i was to wash it daily and well im just not doing that. Remember washing my last one and within a day it was filthy couldnt tell i had even washed it. But when there clean cant beat the mirror black look.

Be honest not checked mine in ages i will liely end up going over the car tomorrow depending on when i get up and what the weather is like. Needs a good wash / polish and wax been sat under a tree and the sap is driving me nuts windows are so damn sticky now. And i ran out of screen wash which made it fun driving earlier with the crap all over the windscreen.

Next to the red id have black or if i had a vts the yellow. Wasnt a fan of the blue when i saw one at the dealers but the day i went to order it i was getting a black one originally and they had a new red one right next to the service desk...it made me change my mind loved it in red. Think everyone loves there own colour though otherwise we would have another colour most likely lol.

Why not just chuck some more oil in it? See if the messages etc go away.

theres a torx bolt in the door handle unscrew it grab where the handle is and start working it loose then check the connection underneith should only take a few minutes just dont yank it out as theres a clip at the top where the mirror controls are which should come out last. Couple people had a loose wire there really simple to sort.

You put the windows down with the air con on? just kind of defeats the object of having aircon turned on.

Funny that the last red car we had was hit side one after someone ran a red light went into the side of my mums car.

On the aircon front mines climate dunno if it makes a difference though. Since both you say yours isnt that cold but have the manual one. Bit of a bugger your having so many problems with it though, I have only had 1 one thing that screwed up really which was a suspension bush resulting in an occasionally knocking noise. Other than that i have not had any serious issues just annoying rattles which nearly everyone had the passenger door rattle. Be interesting to here what Citroen UK say. But from what i have heard there bloody useless.

Yeah but you can kinda see there not black bit stuck up at the back :-P Would be able to see the spoiler from that angle lol. Either way we all know the red C4's are the nicest :-P

See i had mine on earlier and i had to put the heating on after a few minutes my fingers were ice cold from it quie happy with mine. It did only blow cold air out though a few months ago but seems to have stopped doing that now. And have you asked them to check the tracking on the car see if thats a cause of issues?

has the dark button been pressed or have the options been adjusted in the computer thing for the backlight ot be disabled? Check both of those things.

Get it back to the dealers then. The new calipers look rather different to the old ones i had on so probably need the new discs calipers and pads putting on. Mine barely squeal at all i understand some squeal will always be present with disc brakes but these are very quite and only very rarely now.

Brake replacement is something a fair few of us have had so thats normal.

Its because of the 17" wheels a lot of cars with large wheels do this just one of the pay offs looks versus handling.

Add your mother. add females basially mother / girlfriend etc as that usually brings it down. And your over on the fiatforum as well. im on there called wozza as well most of my posts seem to go in the ice section currently though.

Think you need a software update. That was supposed to cure that problem one of them was anyway if i remember correctly.

Mine have the padded bit for the heel as well and have Citroen C4 wrote on them in red. Rest of the mat is the exact same colour as the carpet in the car already apart form the heel which is black match really well inside.

Its only a group 6 car. It should not be that much to insure. met 18 yr olds who have there own policies on group 16+ cars as first cars and they got under £3000 quotes. He just needs to shop around and tell some companies that he can get it cheaper from such and such.

Technically it is kind of on the subject he was asking about cheap insurance thus we mentioned that other more expensive faster cars are often cheaper to insure because they arent written off as much etc. And seems to be a lot of the C4's are being involved in crashed recently not sure why as most people seem to say its there own fault im guessing something catches them out. I know the rear end can be a bit twitchy. I also asked him what details he was putting down on his insurance so i could better help him he didnt tell me. Also told him to phone companies as that was better still not many replies until he helps himself and speaks to some people on the phone he will have a hard job getting half decent realistic quotes thus we went off a on a big of a tangent about insurance and other cars and wanting other cars. This is generally what happens on most forums i have ever been on original topic gets answered or dies and it kind of changes into something else if the original poster or someone with something to add wants to add anything by all means they can i dont care otherwise i dont think us saying about insurance costs on other cars and providing our own information and proving insurance is a bloody con is so bad myself personally. But if people want me too i can seperate the posts form both these subjects and put them into there own threads.
