No! in 2002 PSA were using an 8 valve engine in 90 & 110 HP size. Your VIN should contain the series RHZ.

M3 X7s still use Eolys. It's only the very latest ones which are Blu - probably from early 2014.

On all four of our cars I use ACP wiper blades. They are cheap enough to renew each year before MOT. Look for them on ebay.

That's right! Speed camera detection in France is illegal - however instead of having a programme for speed cameras, Tomtom provides a long list of French 'danger zones'. Since most of the programmed danger zones contain a speed camera, if drivers heed the warning, they should also avoid being flashed.

Hello & welcome to the forum. Let's hope your fault code doesn't return. If it does - it's related to the glowplug control system. Also take a look at our Common Problems - http://www.citroen-owners-club.co.uk/citroen/topic/20279-common-problems-rev-522016/

Giveaway 2001 Exclusive Estate 110 Hdi W Reg
Johndouglas replied to PeterHarris's topic in Citroen Xantia Forum
I'm afraid not. Already got four family cars to look after. When I posted I was wearing my moderators hat. Thought it would be informative for others. Sorry! -
Clean it all up so that you can see where the LDS might be coming from. Sometimes the plastic reservoir springs a leak, sometimes on the seam.

I would get it refilled ASAP. But not only does it need refilling, the ECU needs to be reset by Lexia otherwise the computer won't know it's been refilled.

Giveaway 2001 Exclusive Estate 110 Hdi W Reg

A generous offer thanks - but roughly which area. -
They are sealed units in the headlamps. Often when they get damp internally it's because the cover at the back of the unit hasn't been replaced correctly when changing bulbs. When we get some good hot weather, remove the cover and let it ventilate for a couple of days.

Hello & welcome to the forum. A smart looking car & nice colour. Did you say which engine was in it? Replacement of the rear box shouldn't be too much of a job. I recently changed daughter's 306's rear box. Half an hours work and around £35 for parts.

I'm two years ahead of you. My C5 VTR+Nav which I've owned for two years is also fitted with Myway. I quickly became disappointed with it. It only accepts the first part of a post code and GPS coordinates not at all. It takes much longer to programme. I quickly went back to using my Tomtom Classic.

Need User Manual As Need To Replace Valves

A few quid would be well spent on a Haynes manual. My C5 Haynes gives a full run down on engine removal and Yes! the unit comes out as one. -
Citroen C5 Battery Draining - 2006
Johndouglas replied to bobdav1411's topic in Questions about the Citroen C5
Nice to hear of a good result. Thanks for reporting back - Not every one does.... -
From the posts on this forum the majority of leaking steering racks appear to be confined to 2008 & 9 model C5s. My own is a 2010 model and so far it seems to be holding up well.

Citroen C5 Battery Draining - 2006

You don't need a radio code. It's recognised by the computer. Your difficulty would only arise if you wanted to fit a different one. -
Hello & welcome to the forum. Choices, choices.

Citroen C5 Battery Draining - 2006
Johndouglas replied to bobdav1411's topic in Questions about the Citroen C5
Good lord! It has done well. It doesn't owe you anything. If you have a ECP nearby these batteries will fit http://www.eurocarparts.com/car-battery Prices vary with the length of guarantee. Swopping the battery isn't too difficult but on Citroens & Peugeots there's a correct method. If it isn't carried out properly there's a chance that some electrical functions may not work correctly. Most important that you get the terminals the correct way round. If you have doubts about doing it correctly go to somewhere like Halfords where they'll fit it for you. Change the battery using this method:- Put the driver's window down, lift the bonnet and ensure all equipment is switched off. Ensure all doors are closed and remove key from the ignition. Wait for 3 minutes, disconnect the vehicle battery and remove it. Reconnect the battery, wait a further 10 seconds (do not open doors.). Switch on the side lights through the driver's window. Switch on the ignition and check system's functionality. Hold lock button on key down for 10 seconds. Remove key open & close door test central locking system. Start the engine and complete the system's check. Failure to follow this procedure could result in incorrect operation of many BSI related items. -
No reason why the C8 would be different from the C5 which is 1. LH front; 2. RH rear; 3 LH rear; 4. RH front. If you're using an ezi-bleed kit release most of the pressure from the spare wheel otherwise the reservoir will overflow.

Citroen C5 Battery Draining - 2006
Johndouglas replied to bobdav1411's topic in Questions about the Citroen C5
What age is the battery? Maybe it's reached the end of its life. Your voltage at 12.3 isn't good for starting. It should be 12.7 Also by the time you've got into your car in the morning the suspension pump has already taken a bit of voltage. -
Need User Manual As Need To Replace Valves
Johndouglas replied to stephend161's topic in C3 - Technical
You could consider this link;-- http://www.emanualonline.com/Cars/Citroen/Citroen-C3-Workshop-Manual.html You download it on to your computer and it gives you a copy of the service.citroen website - but with the addition of the repair section (which you would normally have to pay for using) My download speed is often slow so when I bought the e-manual I paid an extra fiver to have it sent on three CDs. Or for a Haynes manual, look on ebay. They often have them there for around a tenner. -
Economy mode is something all Citroens & Peugeots do after between 5 & 30 minutes to prevent the battery running too low to restart the engine. I can't guarantee that this will work but try it - Switch on the ignition but do not start the engine. Hold down the lock button on the remote for 10 seconds whilst the key is still in the ignition. Switch off the ignition and remove the key. Open and close a door and try the locking system. See if the engine starts.

Hello & welcome to the forum. How long is too long that you've owned your Saxo ^_^? I have a 1998 diesel model which I've had for 17 years. I like it; it's simple and cheap to maintain; it's been faultless and it's just passed its MOT. But I admit - it's no rocket................. The C3 series would be a good replacement however, unless you do a lot of mileage, I would give the diesel versions a miss. Diesel engines are much more sophisticated than they used to be and unless they frequently reach their operating temperature over a distance, they are prone to expensive faults.

Speedo / Tachometer Not Working Since Jump Start
Johndouglas replied to RichCliff's topic in Problems and Fixes - C5
I would try a BSI reset first. It just might work. -
In addition to Disco's suggestion is the calliper releasing fully when the pressure is off? Does it have free sliding movement.
