    Towing

Future changes would prob be cheaper once the move has been made but how many clutch changes do you have in ownership of a car, zero to one most likely

    Towing

I had a xsara Picasso with a squealing bearing, when it was stripped down for new release bearing they discovered the 'fingers' on the diaphragm spring were almost worn through, yes it was an expensive DMF clutch, apparently there is a mod kit to turn it back to a conventional clutch
  3. May be a difference in gear ratios too

    Towing

Suspended towing seems a better option, no driver in towed vehicle, everyone stress free
  5. Wise words, good or bad the manufactures fit these parts for a reason
  6. One way or the other you need to take the plunge if you are wanting to carry bikes this summer. No problem putting mine back in storage or possibly on ebay at a later date
  7. Well done that man, so much for sealed for life, short life
  8. The Halfords one looks a bargain and the bars appear to be almost identical to my Thule bars, same 'square' section

    "growly" C3

I had this on a second hand 2009 C3 Picasso diesel, never did find out why, however it put me off the car, got shut
  10. steel, rectangular section, black powder coat
  11. If in doubt ask the seller, tell him your vehicle and the type of bike you intend to carry and he should be able to advise
  12. Pricey, not my choice
  13. As far as I know, that's it
  14. With my bars and a pair of ebay racks £60 ish
  15. These bars mount securely ACROSS the roof, you would then need the longitudinal bike mounting rails to fasten to them for either one, two or more bikes, plenty on ebay

    Roof Boxes

Try ebay for a single decker bus
  17. 17 miles or thereabouts
  18. Sure I've read somewhere that tailgate mounted ones are not recommended but it didn't say why, could it be down to plastic on the lower half of the door ?
  19. I have a set of Thule roofbars which I took off my 2008 c4 pic when I bought the car
  20. Sent you a PM, may be able to help depending on where you are located
  21. Anyone out there interested in a pair of wind deflectors for a C4 saloon, I got them off ebay but they were wrongly described as being for a C4 Picasso, when I tried to fit them they were entirely the wrong shape, researching the embossed part number it showed a Citroen part for the saloon car, no use to me, the seller refunded but didn't want to fork out for postage to have them returned. There is slight damage to a locating bit on the passenger side but have been assured it will still locate securely and not be seen when fitted, I just want them out of the way, sooner than bin them they are a freebie if you are in the Huddersfield area.
  22. Not against the eco mode just think Citroen could have thought about it a bit more and , where in my case, give the option to over-ride or easy reset for the radio, I mean how much electric is it taking to restart the engine each time.
  23. Eco mode is a pain with the radio, on an earlier Renault Megane it only required pushing the radio button to get another 20 mins of playing time, not having to restart the engine
  24. I like it, wipers work ok

    Know Issue

Sons c3 Picasso did that recently, garage reported a broken drop arm link, I assume that's the same one that annoyingly rattles when it starts to wear
