Its a good thing you did your research before buying. My Dealer hardly got any 08s there. I think about 4 maybe. I had my C2 in April. April is a good month really as the mad rush is over in the March plus 08 was still a very new reg. I had my 05 Reg C3 in April 05 as well. My Brother always missed the New reg by a week due to the Motability Contract and this time I arranged with the dealer to extend the contract by a week so he could get an 06 instead of a 55 reg I arranged this a few months before but then his daughter wrote off his 52 2003 C3 in Nov 05 so his New C3 he had to have it on 55 reg as he had it in January instead. So I don't blame you waiting for the new reg

Cool I bet you can't wait. Ive been up my local dealers compound this morning taking some pics of 58 reg Citroens for my scrap book. There are loads in there. Same as March just gone there were loads of 08s and in between then they didn't have many cars in there.

Its like My Brothers 2006 C3 1.6i 16v Exclusive cuts out and does not select gear when it wants since week one and Citroens Computer can't find anything wrong. I know its not the gearbox as that was replaced in Dec 07 so its a faulty sensor somewhere but we have givin up trying to find the fault now as he has only got it now untill January 09. So not long left on it. Its due its MOT in December I will be surprised if it passes to be honest.

Good Choice try and keep the Lynx Alloys clean as much as possible as the ones on my C3 Exclusive were a nightmare to clean due to the small spokes like. And the ones on my Brothers C3 Exclusive the nuts are rusting now. For God Sake don't let a tyre Garage use a wheel gun on them as Kwik Fit had used the gun on mine and made my locking wheel nuts go blunt. Citroen says as well not to use tyre guns on the alloy locking wheel nuts

My Friend is finding his 2008 C3 1.4i 75BHP SX Petrol very sluggish compare to his last 2005 C3 1.4HDi 70BHP Desire and the 1.4HDi did feel more nippy when I was passenger in it than his C3 now.

I would go for a New C5 1.6HDi.

If there is something wrong get it looked at as my brother let his C3 go too long with the SensoDrive Gearbox making a noise then the Clutch went and the Gearbox also had to be replaced so the quicker you get it looked at the better.

Thats all it needs now is the Citroen Badge.lol It looks nice.

I was thinking of getting a C3 Stop & Start when I was renewing my last C3 but Motability wanted to much on the Deposit so I went for the C2 VTR SensoDrive which is going great on Fuel. I had it doing 55mpg last Tuesday on a run up Mid Wales after a few trips around town since then its now doing 44mpg

Depends who you buy one from. Dealers tend to be more expensive anyway than non Franchise Dealers

My Brothers 2003 52 reg C3 SX Auto used to do the same now and again. My 05 C3 Exclusive did it once. I filled up to the brim only 5 lights came on drove 2 miles and the 6th light came on.

I know Citroen can have their faults I know that by the problems my brothers past 3 Citroens have had but there are alot of other cars that has faults too. I understand alot more about the Dealers now since knowing the staff well at my local Dealer and alot of its down to Citroen UK. The Dealer has got to go through them to autorise to replace parts for Warranty work. Im Sure KFK can tell you the whole process the Dealer has to go through. By the sounds of it your dealer has done everything they can and it should be down to Citroen now. Like The Front Spring snapped on my C3 when it turned 3 years old but it still didn't put me off the car and my Dealer got it repaired within 48 Hours. As for posting things alot of us like to post good things about our cars as well as bad. Good luck with your case anyway

Are you putting in Normal or Copied CDs? Now on my 05 C3 Exclusive I had always played copies and never had any problems but my Brother did on his old 2003 52 Reg C3 SX and it had to be replaced. It was worse on hot days than cold days.
