Are you buying a ZX Volcane? My first Citroen was a ZX Reflex in 1992 :( and enjoyed every minute of it.

Did they stop making the petrol HPi engine because it was unreliable?

Seems a good price to me especially if you have a warranty with the work from a Citroen Dealer

I think that the spheres will probably need recharging as mine need doing after 120k miles. Speak to your dealer about getting a quote and let me know how you get on.

Equaliser Have seen Supaguard to paintwork advertised but never specified it. I would have thought that modern paintwork applied by PSA would be good enough. What do you get for your money? Eddie

Equalizer Welcome to the forum. I was going to say that there should be a disarming button on the dash (as per my C5), but KFK beat me to it. Well done on your choice of car, I love the C8 and was going to have one, but couldn't justify travelling 40k per year in one , and with only having 2 teenage children. Decided to have C5 estate and Pic for second car instead. I have had cruise retro fitted on my Pic and I know the SX doesn't have it, so might be worth asking if your dealer can do it if you need it. My delaer is going to try and do it on his demo, so I'll let you know how he gets on.( Something to do with VAN-BUS system, KFK?) Appreciate them for what they are and your dealer will always be able to help. Enjoy

Rik My C5 with the same engine returns about the same, although I do cruise at about 65mph on the motorway and try not to speed. Think what mpg the 92hp would do!

Ian Totally agree - great concept but a lot to go wrong.

My brakes have squealled from new. Dealer says they all do it. Perhaps that's why for every new look C5 I see on the road, I see about ten 407's. :D and I do about 36k per year.

My rear window is stuck shut and is being replaced under warranty on 5th May. Why do they have to replace the whole window?

Lupin Don't install a CD changer in a Pluriel! When we had one, the cd player would not hold memory due to the fact water may go into the radio. I was told that a cd changer would be a no no. Let me know what you think. Eddie
