lol exactly !!! I thought I was good....now I know otherwise. The guys and gals on that site spend fortunes though!!! This is the effect I'm after on my black C4: http://gallery.girlracer.ws/albums/gtipics3/normal_Picture_965.jpg Notice how the paint looks wet...amazing job..and all done by hand !!! :P
-
I've already booked mine in for all the defects that have been mentioned so far...lol! 4 days they are keeping the car for! I get to play with a C1 though...so its a good enough trade :P Once I get the car back then it will be getting a complete clean. I am a member on Detailing World and the results they get on there are amazing so I have a shopping list of cleaning goodies to get!
-
So they are painted. Correct? To be honest it is hard keeping plastic trim from fading, particularly in black, so I'd be interested in getting these colour coded to the rest of the car.
-
lol yeah definately. The guy who owns this has a mint C4. The only thing I'd say that goes against it is that he choose to have the brown leather interior when he has the Black VTS :P Definately has given me ideas though!
-
One thing that I've always noticed on pictures of VTS's... It looks as if the B Pillar and Side Sills on the VTS are painted, not just simply plastic as in the case of my VT. Is that correct? If so...is there anything else external on the car that is painted on the VTR/VTS models that is simply plastic on the VT?

In car PC - like this you mean? http://people.freenet.de/megaturtel/vts/CarPC@C4_1.jpg Very very nice - just come across it...
-
Best to let Citroen take a look at it then - If it is a paint defect then they will have to re-spray the car for you :D
-
Well I was with Liverpool Victoria last year and they didn't mind me having 18's on my C4. Didn't charge me a penny extra. Mind you saying that I dont think they would have paid out for them if they were nicked...
-
For example I've found the FORD one : FORD DVD but I can't find the Citroen one at the moment....grrr.... :D
-
I take it you've got the 16" alloys then ?
-
You'd be susprised m8 - It is just a software program, so can be copied very easily. I know my brother has a Seat Ibiza and he found the Seat program very easily. In fact I think I'll take a look now...
-
Cheers for the link but I'm already looking at these...how much are they from Citroen again? I guess I could always buy these two and save some money - and get the other two from Citroen? :D
-
Yeah I guess whatever profit they made on selling me my C$ has gone out of the window by now! Do you know the name of the software that Citroen keeps all of its technical information on? I'm sure we could pick one up from ebay etc.
-
Got a picture so I can take a look ?
-
Aye....they are gonna be sorry they had some many faults in the C4 !! :D
-
Definately! So have you got any pix of your C4? What model have you got?
-
Cool - cheers for the pix. You have almost the same set up as I do, apart from the Amp on the left is where my six disk changer is. This thread reminds me...have you had any problems with the boot floor? I found the fabric/carpet came away very easily from the mdf...ended up spray gluing it down! Not the greatest fit though. Should I add that to the list on the other thread? :D
-
So you thinking of getting that work done on your C4?
-
lol it was horrible to see the car tick over 10,000 miles though - I will admit to that ! :D
-
I have been looking at their website and its £185 for a remap, with an extra £100 ish for a CDA (Carbon Dynamic Airbox) - I wouldn't mind the extra power, but I'm not too sure on the CDA...dont want my car sounding like its got a K&N filter on it !!! Cheers for the ideas though guys. Angel tuning are up by Coventy, so just over 2 and a half hours drive for me. Will probably check them out soon, and report back here!
-
Just under 13,000 miles, with the car being a 05 plate. I dont think thats too bad! I have travelled in it a far bit - I had family and friends living in Hull, then Preston for example - and I'm from Cardiff !
-
lol yeah I do know that, but for the price I paid I cant really argue :) Your setup sounds cool m8 - one thing I've definately noticed is that the inside of a C4 definately responded well to bass tones! :D EDIT: Any pix to show?
-
lol boasting eh! So what setup have you got in the car? I have an Alpine HU (cant remember the model name...) with a small amp (Sony) and 12inch Subwoofer (Kenwood) in a box. I also have a Alpine 6disk MP3 changer attached in the boot as well. My brother is an ICE junkie and a formal Ripspeed technical support guy so he knows his stuff - I goto him for help. He also assisted me with obtaining all the above ICE in the first place...lets just say I got a very good deal! :D
-
I haven't yet received that letter, but so far these the faults that my car has suffered from: Rattle in Passenger Door Rattle in Gearbox when changing gear / under acceleration ABS Recall Airbag Recall Brake Squeeking Problem Not to mention I had my head gasket changed after 10,000 miles. The perils of having a new model of car eh! Still wouldn't change it for the world though - well....maybe for a VTS :D

Yeah I found Angeltuning's website yesterday but according to the pdf file on their website they dont be home remapping on the C4 (1.4i), only remapping at their HQ. £185 for 7bhp. Reckon its worth it ?
