  1. Personally I would get a TurboDiesel 1.6 VTR+ and kit it out with VTS spec equipment. More work on the cosmetic/equipment side but the TD would be far easier to tune, run and would probably last longer and have a better resale value. I think my next car will definately be a diesel.
  2. I tend to put £20 in at a time, and get around 220 miles on the Citroen computer. However the actual mileage is a lot less than that I suspect. £20 does me for a week's worth of driving though  I tend to drive sensibly, but I get the itch to put my foot down sometimes. Particularly so if I'm held up by slow drivers..

So I could buy myself a 400bhp EVO and value it at a £1? Cool....
  4. Good Karma.

    Doors

And they can be fitted to any model of C4? I remember a thread about this before, and so I had a quick check under my VT's doors (in the dark!)...I remember just feeling a hole in the bottom of the doors...probably just bigger than a matchbox? Is this what I'm looking for? Is that a plastic/glass cover that I need once I buy the bulbs?
  6. Might be a good idea to see if you can find a dealership that will give you trade discount on the parts if you buy in bulk, or maybe check out Ebay.
  7. You can indeed go to a garage other than Citroen, as long as you use Citroen parts. Nothing they can do about it.

@ incubus What the hell have you been smoking? Mind you...my 2 cent is.... DO IT !!! DISCLAIMER: Darren takes no responsibility for the systimatic destruction of any C4. Period. Get over it.
  9. You referring to cars or women?
  10. How long should I expect my brakes to last then? I think the back ones were replaced as part of the "brake noise" fix after roughly 14,000 miles - but Im now close to 19,000 and the brakes are squeeking like mad now. For the record...I hardly ever use the handbrake. Either footbrake or clutch control where ever I drive.
  11. Nope! ;)
  12. Dont need them to look round Bends...I use my Spidee Sense for that  :P
  13. £500 ? I know its not quite the same thing but I got mine from ebay for £80! :)
  14. Nice to see the car back looking it's best. Agree with you RE: polish and wax...looking to do this ASAP then follow it up with a photo session in some of Cardiff's good photo locations (City Hall, Millennium Stadium, Welsh Assembly Building etc) :P
  15. Lucky you! :D :D :P You dont suffer from the knocking problem that I get in my 1.4VT then? Mine and Stuey's cars seem to have this problem. As for the shaking problem..can't say my VT suffers from that...although when the engine is cold the car does tend to mildly shake as the revs are settling.
  16. lol minor difference there then! :P
  17. Personally I believe this proposed tax has nothing to do with congestion, and is simply about collecting more tax to plug holes in the government's budget. Seriously we have to be the most inefficient country ever...the government collects huges amounts of tax yet wastes it.
  18. 2 Millon Suspended Sentences and instead hefty fines - a different type of Tax !!! :) :(
  19. I noticed a TV ad the other night with one of the Kia range being offered with a 7 year warrenty - now that is impressive. As a company in order to offer that I'd have to make damn sure quality control was upto stratch..just a shame I dont like their cars! :D
  20. Showroom mode? Interesting...never heard of this before - would be a good idea from the dealership point of view I suppose because it could allow a number of things to be displayed that normally wouldn't? Mind you..still doesn't explain things like the windows working the wrong way around?
  21. £125 for 12 months on my 1.4 - as it happens I have bought my documents into work - will be buying a new year's tax today
  22. Sorry to hear m8. Your not having much luck recently are you ?
  23. @ xt500cc Sorry to hear m8. Have you got access to a machine polisher? This may help get rid of at least some of the damage.
  24. None whatsoever - open the boot..remove a few pieces of interior trim...undo a couple of bolts, and replace the standard "lip" with the new spoiler - do up new bolts, replace trim and your done. You then only need to fit the new gas legs (included) to cope with the new weight added to the boot. Job done :)
  25. So I'm talking about getting naked and you start talking about whip rounds? hmmm :D
