Which engine does your car have ? Whilst the clutch may not be worn out so that it slips, it could still be a clutch problem such as oil on it, uneven wear or wear on the flywheel. It could also be the clutch master/slave cylinders need the fluid changing so they work smoothly - the fluid should be changed anyway every 2 years when the brake fluid is changed since it shares the same reservoir. Other possibilities can include an engine mounting, particularly the one at the back, a drive shaft cv joint, a suspension joint.

You are supposed to remove the bumper since the light has a locating clip at the lower edge near the back. When refitting there are 2 locating lugs at the front wing edge and a locating peg at the top back next to the bolt and then the 2 bolts are put back.

I have put your car details as your signature so no need to mention it in future topics. You can edit this if you go to your profile. The drain plug might be 6 mm and if you have a 1/4 inch socket set you may find the square fittings on it will work. If not then you can measure the plug. For the piloted gearbox the drain plug is below the drive shaft and the level plug is nearer the front of the car but at a similar level to the drive shaft. From RPO 9786 a level plug has not been installed. There should be 2 litres of oil, if you do not have a level plug this is put in by removing the breather cap on top of the gearbox. The plugs are tightened to 33 Nm. You should check the oil type at a dealer but for the piloted gearbox it could be Total Transmission BV, SAE 75W80 Citroen part reference 9730 A2.

Welcome to the forum. What year is your car ? Did the garage raise the suspension to max height first before jacking it up/ raising it on a ramp ? If not suspension problems can occur. I do not know what you mean by 'baring'. Is the leak at the front or rear of the car and which side ? Can you see where the fluid is leaking from ? On the front struts there are hoses that can come off. If your car is the 2008 on model then the suspension fluid tank cap should be slackened before the wheels are left hanging free and not done back up until the car is on the ground again. If not done the tank can split and obviously leak. This may not be well known outside of Citroen but is in their workshop procedures. If you do not do your own maintenance then I would take it to a Citroen dealer to be fixed since most jobs on the suspension take less than 1 hour so you can not save much on labour charges by going elsewhere.

Need some details of the car and gearbox and engine plus the year.

Welcome to the forum. When you switch on the air con can you hear the air con blower clicking in and also the refrigerant gas flowing round. At 11 years old though it is most likely in need of a regas, I had our C5 and an ealier one both done at about 7 years old due to not cooling much. You should also check the cabin blower and the radiator fan are working which is needed for the air con to work.

Possible causes of poor starting can include the glow plugs needing replacing, poor compression due to wear, wrong fuel mixture from the coolant temperature sensor giving the wrong value, air flow meter fault, the timing being out, an air leak, and others. A diagnostic check using Citroen equipment may help find the cause.

Welcome to the forum. You can look on the MOT site to see if the car details are correct and also at the Citroen parts diagrams using the vehicle VIN to see if this also matches the car. Do the number plates look new and do they have the post code on with the supplying dealer - just thinking the car may be a cloned one. On the service.citroen site you need to register as an other professional non emergency services and as a member of the Citroen Owners Club. Once on the site put the car VIN (VIS) top left to find your car. Then look at the left column under Characteristics for info on your car. https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history http://service.citroen.com/do/changerParametres

Welcome to the forum. Is the servicing up to date including fuel filter replacement ? When it does not start, is this with a cold or warm engine ? Have you tried the spare key in case it is an immobilser problem ? You have not mentioned any warning messages or engine mangement light so does this mean there are none ?

Since your car has been running ok for the last week it could still have been the coolant that spilt on to the sensor and it has dried out and the problem gone. The new tyres/wheels may need to be balanced again to stop the steering wheel shake. Sometimes Citroen wheels need an adaptor to fit on the balancing machine and possibly not every tyre fitting place have them.

The parts diagrams only show the complete pipe. Another possibility is there could be some dirt in the plastic clamp so it is not fully closing.

2.2 Hdi Mk1 Swirl Valve I Read All Post No Solution.
paul.h replied to Lordbil1979's topic in Problems and Fixes - C5
I guess then the car had these faults when you bought it, did the seller say anything about the faults ? I had a 2004 C5 with the 2.2 hdi 136 hp engine and the plastic cup on the diaphragm actuator arm broke off. I did not notice for some time but found that it was not accelerating as quickly but the fuel economy improved. May be you could disconnect the actuator arm from the diaphragm rod at the plastic cup and use some wire to hold the swirl valves in the open and closed positions and see how the performance compares. If you have the service history other things to check if the power is down are if the fuel filter has been replaced recently, if the air filter has been replaced, if the exhaust particulate filter (dpf) has been replaced/cleaned. You could also have a diagnostic check at a Citroen dealer to see if everything is working as it should. -
Welcome to the forum. I suspect you will need a new fuel pipe. Possibly the connection has worn internally, or has some damage such as a split, the seal is worn, the pipe connection is expanding under pressure - the result being it is a loose fit and comes off under internal pressure. When trying to pull the pipe off was this done whilst it was warm and with the pump running so similar conditins to when it comes off ?

Have you checked if all the bulbs in the display are working ?

I have just bought 3 x 5 litres of this oil direct from the following supplier, £66 including delivery which was only 2 days. This will do the C5 oil change (done today), the C3 next month and then for topping up the C3. A lot cheaper than £15 a litre from our Citroen dealer since they only stock the 1 litre size. https://www.nielsencdg.co.uk/acatalog/Total-Quartz-Ineo-ECS-5W30-Engine-Oil-Peugeot--HDI-Citroen-5L-TOT_151261.html

2.2 Hdi Mk1 Swirl Valve I Read All Post No Solution.

Is the car running ok ? The steering angle sensor could mean it needs calibrating, especially if you have had the tracking adjusted and it was not done equally across both sides. Or it could be a sensor fault but I think these are built in to the switch unit under the steering wheel so could need a complete unit. -
Welcome to the forum. There is some info here where it has 10 years or 120k miles as the cut off criteria for the 80% contribution. http://www.citroen-owners-club.co.uk/citroen/topic/21543-watchdog-questions-citroen-about-c4-suspension-issue/page-0 You still appear to qualify so I would try to get Citroen to give you something in writing that you can use with your dealer.

Just changed the left front side light bulb on our 2007 C5, it was not difficult and did not need the bumper removing. It is the halogen H6W (434) bulb and is a bayonet fit in the holder. First had to remove the battery cover and fusebox cover and then the battery following the disconnection procedure in the Common Problems topic - bonnet open, key out of the car and wait a few minutes for the bsi to shut down, unclipped the negative cable and then removed the positive one. Then pulled off the rubber cap from the back of the light unit and used a mirror to look inside at the bulb holder. It has 2 clips down its sides that need to be squeezed as the holder is pulled out and then the bulb can be removed. The holder fits in one way since it has different width locating lugs down its sides that fit in to slots in the light unit, it is not the clips that go in the slots. As previously noted, the glass on the new bulb was not touched but was held in a tissue since it is said that sweat can reduce the life of halogen bulbs. The battery connection procedure was followed - connect positive cable, then negative and then wait a few minutes, then insert ignition key and turn so dash lights up and wait a minute for the bsi to start up and then start the engine and reset the date/time, take the windows down and up to reset the anti pinch.

I found the C3 topic by doing a google search on 'Citroen fault code P106F' so you could repeat the search. A search on Citroen fault code 111 suggests the passenger air bag disable switch could just need its electrical connector putting back on http://www.peugeotforums.com/forums/806-807-43/n-s-airbag-deactivated-141410/

2.2 Hdi Mk1 Swirl Valve I Read All Post No Solution.
paul.h replied to Lordbil1979's topic in Problems and Fixes - C5
The diaphragm actuator should work under a vacuum and not pressure, what happens when the vacuum is applied, does it move the right way ? Is it possible the swirl valve arm is on 180 degrees out so it moves the wrong way ? The vacuum is from the vacuum pump on the cylinder head and also supplies the brake servo so are you having any problems with the brakes needing more pedal pressure. -
My first few cars all used oil at about 1 pint every 300 miles so I would use a cheap 20w50 oil but once off BL cars oil use has been minimal. On the 2010 C3 though it uses Total quartz INEO ECS 5w30 (same as hdi dpf engines) which might be a bit thin but I have read if a thicker oil is used it can result in damage to the engine.

Audio And Telematics Systems - Handbook Supplement
paul.h replied to stevieg1948's topic in C3 - Technical
If the audio unit is similar to other Citroen cars you could look in a handbook for one of those cars. You can see them on the service.citroen site http://service.citroen.com/ddb/ You may need to select your language first. The supplement is not on there though. -
This similar topic on a C3 did not come up with a solution but gives you an idea of what not to try https://citroenc3owners.com/citroen-c3-questions/airbag-light-on-plus-faulty-passenger-window-t1263.html

I usually wipe a dipstick and then push it back in and then take it out to check the level. I once read that on a Ford this is since the oil level goes up the dipstick a bit but then can not drain back down until the top is lifted out to let in air. Our 2010 C3 with the petrol vti engine uses oil, about 1 litre every 2000 miles. It has always done this and is a (poor) design feature but when the level needs topping up a check oil level message is given. The plastic ended dipstick is not that easy to use though since it seems to pick up oil from the dipstick tube each time you pull out the dipstick.

Welcome to the forum. Is the diaphragm actuator that connects to the swirl valve arm in good condition and not leaking, also the vacuum pipes to it and other actuators ?
