If you have the heat reflective windscreen, then you really need something that uses an external or seperate Bluetooth GPS receiver, as you will struggle to get a GPS signal.

I expect they are still at lunch :D Why not just ask your local dealers service staff?
  3. If it is a large dealer, the sales staff will have targets to meet at the end of the month, and as we are near the end of the month I am sure you could get something off the price or get something extra thrown in for free like a TomTom for example. :D Yes, make sure you sound very interested, but also try and haggle. :D
  4. I am sure we have had a survey like this before, but I can't find it ? :D
  5. I think that is only fitted on the C5  Probably too new to get any technical information about it ? :P Not mentioned on the Citroen site <_<
  6. Probably stolen, or their mates dads brothers sisters car. :P Personally I would buy from a garage, as you will get more protection if anything goes wrong. I don't care how much I could save off a dealer price. Whenever I have called up private ads in papers and magazines like autotrader, they always reply with which car? or I am selling it for a friend. It is never their own car. <_<
  7. Good luck. <_< It sounds like a nice motor. :D
  8. The 110 and 138 BHP engines have the overboost function. HDi 138 engine The 2.0 HDi engine complies with the Euro IV standard and is coupled with the diesel particulate filter system (DPFS). It develops 100 kW EEC (138 bhp) at 4,000 rpm. Offering maximum torque of 320 Nm at 2,000 rpm, it also features an overboost function that raises torque temporarily to 340 Nm. This new engine is coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox already available with the C5.The HDi 138, like the HDi 110, features a second-generation injection system and a variable-geometry turbocharger. HDi 110 bhp DIN The 1.6 HDi engine is also available in a version offering output of 80 kW EEC (110 bhp) at 4,000 rpm, introduced on the Xsara Picasso in February 2004. It supplies maximum torque of 240 Nm at 1,750 rpm. Torque can be increased to 260 Nm at 1,750 rpm on the three highest gears, thanks to the overboost function. For strong bursts of acceleration, the "overboost" function kicks in, delivering up to 20 Nm of additional torque by increasing the fuel injection rate. This new engine therefore combines a fast response with a linear increase in power, and excellent acceleration at low engine speeds. The HDi 110 features a second-generation injection system delivering injection pressure of 1,650 bars, controlled by piezoelectric-type injectors. A variable-geometry turbocharger enhances driving pleasure and performance. HDi 92 bhp DIN The new 1.6. HDi 16V engine develops 66 kW EEC (92 bhp DIN) at 4,000 rpm and torque of 215 Nm at 1,750 rpm. Based on the HDi 110, this "all-aluminium" engine is making its debut in the Citroën range. With low fuel consumption (4.7 l/100 km over a standard combined cycle) and CO2 emissions of just 125 g/km, this engine satisfies the Euro IV standard.
  9. The black is pearlescent, and there is only one. Dealers that can't spell, just call it metallic. <_<

    Hi

Greetings Any C4 is a nice car. If you are not doing a high annual mileage then a petrol model will be a lot cheaper to buy, and you can buy a lot of petrol with the savings. :P
  11. Welcome Woof. I presume you have a dog? 791/2 that makes you 395.5 years old ! :P I guess you mean 79 and 6 months which makes you sound a lot younger :D
  12. I don't like bright colours on a car, and black is too common especially on Golf's, so for me it is Iron Grey, which is same colour as my car :P
  13. You mean like Deputy Prime Minister :P
  14. http://www.pistonheadstv.com/videos/192.wmv Parking a Nissan Micra. How hard can it be ? :P
  15. My guess is that it got sandwiched by a truck and a car, possibly on a roundabout and was caught in the trucks blindspot. Them airbags are not cheap
  16. I haven't parked in any public car parks yet, apart from the supermarket, and the only thing I have got from there is some scratches and very small dent in drivers door from either someone that's careless or someone that does not like other people having a nice car. Just glad I did not buy brand new!
  17. I was wondering who voted yellow! :P I thought yours was gold, from looking at your avatar. :P

I think everyones window switches light up. It's the door mirror select button that does not light up.
  19. Must be a northern thing all this attention to your cars :P Look dad, theres a car! Aye son, your're right. Don't see many cars up north :P

My dash does not rattle after heater box fix.
  22. I had a good result with the dealer and open window issue. They fitted the 9706AG cable that allows me to play an Ipod or anything else via the standard radio FOC, but the salesman always said he would pay for it anyway when I bought the car ;) The dealer has never fitted one before and they did a good job :D I must say that my Ipod Mini sounds great on the standard speakers. :D

    1) Had that fixed on mine. Seems to be a common fault. 2) I get some vibration from 66 - 72 mph. I don't normally drive that slow so not a major problem. 3) I don't look at the rev counter much, but I think mines ok. 3) (3 again?) Door mirror works fine. 4) My door mirror selection switch does not light up, so I assume that is correct? 6) Slight misfire at idle is normal for the diesels I am told by sales! 7) Mine is ok, some have had rear shocks replaced. Yes it is a nice car :D
  25. Brilliant !
