Nothing wrong with going to meets learn more from owners than you can from the dealers to whats going wrong wit the car. Plus we normally end up going for meets at places we can actually do something. Last one we had a small meet at the MPH show at the NEC. Then again there all small meets at the moment lol.

mine was on the side of the boot where it bends on both sides will it cure it there? As all my dealer did last time was send it to the bodyshop who then put some Paint coloured stickers on it. 1.6 turbo with upwards of 200bhp will easily rival the meg infact i would say it should kick its arse 0-60ish similar power with a near 200kg weight reduction should easily do the trick. Bare in mind a current 1.6 with a turbo bolted on will do it sub 7 seconds. it will rival the meg no problems. engine may also be put in the C2 VTS which would make it a good rival to the clio.

There just a bitch to get extra power from. if you want 200bhp gotta be wanting to spend upwards of £2000. Id honestly say try the C4 VTS if you have not driven one its not as nice handling wise or as quick but still plenty fast enough. And has all the comfort and its not looked at as only being a Clio.

Tell me about it just pulled up next to a 182 and 172 on the way home. Temping me as well. But i like the comfort of the C4 so much nicer during long trips. But id like a nice liquid yellow or petrol blue 182.

Think the 307 actually looks alright and considering its the same shell they use for the WRC it cant be that bad. :-P Remember the C4 and 307 share most of the main parts Chassis, suspension etc.

if you have a COOL spec or higher pushing it down activates the auto wipers. If they stop at any time pushing it down again will give it a 1 wipe. Otherwise you have to push up then click down again to get a single wipe.

There SHOULD be a face lift model out next year apparently. Seen on a few sites there supposed to be releasing one. 2008 there supposed to be bringing the Coupe Cabrio out.

Clipped mine on high kurbs thats about it. So used to having t get the car as close as possible to my front door to get it on the drive so the other car can get out. i did the same in a carpark and hit the kurb. No damage done though just horrible noise.

Bare in mind the rest of us did get our cars when they were a little rarer so might not be so bad now. I had to wait 12 weeks just cause I wanted a red one how about that. If i had gone with my original choice of black it would have been a couple weeks at most. But it was worth it.

When its raining it turns the lights on thats because the majority of people now are taught to turn there lights on when it rains to increase the visibility of the car to others. And rich do you not have it set to autowipe back window when you select reverse? Mine does it instantly. And the sensor is just behind the rear view mirror in the tinted kind of bit on the glass.

The side lights give it a bit of an angry look when one is behind you. My mate also seems to think they remind him of a cowboy hat :S

Thats an odd one sure its not in any other menu as i dont see how it could just disappear. you gone into the right sub menu which i think is called display vehicle parameters

The only thing I really miss from my Clio is heated mirrors.

Mine work fine and they seem to wipe slowly or stop completely when i am stopped. But have same problem as Lee i find they dont wipe fast enough in very heavy rain resulting in me having to crawl along to be able to see.

See i had to pay to get a Cd player in my Clio as an extra or you got 2 speakers and a tape deck. The only luxury it had was electric windows. Everything else was manual. to get the sunroof open properly you actually had to take it off. But i loved my little Clio was my first car i got to drive the golf i had before that i could not drive due to illness so i had to get rid of it. Could not drive when i first got the Clio but i learned to drive in it.

Thats one of the only kits that halfway works with the car. Annoys me that the left hand drives get a dead pedal though and we dont. be nice to have somewhere to put my foot properly.

Why im looking at going American next instead i mean for what you pay for a golf GTI you can get a New Mustang or an older Corvette I know which id rather have. And it isn't the Golf. But nothing wrong with the newer Renaults. The New Clio handles very very well. And the new Megane is fast and handles very well too not built too badly either. And after a remap there not too shy of 300bhp. Just never been a fan of the last 2 model civics. Last one looked like a van the new one i just hate the lights at the front and back. But the new Leon is cool, want to see what the new grande punto abarth will be like as well. Would not say no to an Alfa 147 either.

Thats cause theres less to go wrong. :unsure: Like my Clio poverty spec'd nothing to go wrong lol. Really would not mind having a go of 1 though.

Not a fan of the design of them the interior is nice. But being typical of the vtec engines they do need to be worked. However that can be altered by moving the Vtec point lower down. Well build handle well but id still look at other hatches first before the civic. Wait and see what the Type R's will be like. Think if i was wanting a hot hatch now id be waiting for the Focus RS but i dont like the new focus it looks boring.
