  1. Nothing citroen can do to see if the sony headunit will work nothing they can turn off or whatever? And what kind of budget do you have on the speakers?
  2. Im an Alpine fan as well. But Pioneer also offer some great headunits with bluetooth and able to take an ipod for under £200. There about the best 2 makes you can buy of the known brands not sure if becker have a bluetooth option with ipod etc as well.
  3. Personally think if your going for a sporty sounding exhaust it should be there to compliment the sound of the engine. If your going for tuning dump the cats etc and just go for a straight though does not matter how loud it is then as its tuned for speed. To tune a 1.0 litre to wake up people in the entire village with there fart cannon exhausts annoys me. Or people that do stupid exhausts on cars. There also the same people who are usually uninsured wankers putting the price up for the rest of us.
  4. Yeah dealers should be able to turn it on for you. Needs to be hooked up to there computers.
  5. One of the guys here did it but as I remember it was not cheap. Means new headunit etc from citroen so best part of around £300 - £400 as i remember it. Can get a better after market solution for that.
  6. XU series engine same as in yours just with lots changed according to some more info i found it started life as a standard 1.8litre engine. But just about everything has been changed.
  7. Yup they do.
  8. Rattling passenger door section. and that if you have parking sensors extra or something that the screen is configured for them.
  9. wrote it was other way round for some reason on my other post. But cooler denser air means more fuel needed in the mix to balance it out so im blaming it on me being tired. It was after 3am when i posted lol.
  10. Welcome to the forums mate. Wait will be worth it.
  11. Same as VTS trim and no only the vts180 gets that as standard.
  12. Yeah I fell for that once guy was revving it on the line me thinking oh hes just got a shitty exhaust....oh how wrong i was it was an old astra and i got off the line quicker got onto the slip road thinking ha thats another dick taken care of to see the thing go screaming past me. Turns out it was running a tuned z20let engine kicking out over 300bhp. He was just having a laugh. Was an alright guy though. Have to give the guy some respect for building a sleeper. And some loud exhausts are fine on a tuned track day car a decat etc is cool. On a decently tuned car its fine. But a loud exhaust big enough to loose a cat in on a 1.0 litre nova is just funny. If i had a powerful fast car id be going for a decent exhaust to get more power form it and say sod the noise it makes.
  13. I'm trying to decide weather or not to get the exhaust trim form Citroen only around £40 but cant quite decide if i want to get it. And always worried about after market systems sounding way too loud cant be doing with loud exhausts. Not on a 1.6 anyway. Its not so bad when its got some power to back up all the noise but just find it funny seeing people with 1.1's with these insanely loud exhausts on them.
  14. Not sure about the standard citroen one would require a fair bit of work. But there are aftermarket sunroofs which might go in. Although never seen one as big as the citroen one. Just cant imagine it being easy chopping roof out and putting the glass in.
  15. Well its going for a service soon yours isn't it? Just tell them then sure it will get sorted for free as it should not be making a noise. As I said mine has not developed any new noises. But its going into the dealers in a week or so for a couple days to find out why it keeps messing up and going into limp home. Also think somethings a bit iffy with my clutch as its juddering like crazy recently. Possibly a connection with it but I have no idea. But on the plus side its taken over a year for it to develop a fault and its likely its just going to be a sensor or something and well that can happen on any car.
  16. I think its just for the standard headlights.
  17. When you got them replaced did you have the calipers etc replaced? Or just disks? As mine which were very noisy after around 1500miles have been fine now for the last 7000+ miles.
  18. The guy was getting rid of loads his shed roof was used for stacking bumpers on.

    New Wheels!

If i remember correctly should be 37 front 40 rear. 2.5 bar front and 2.7 rear is what i remember which i think was 37 and 40.
  20. Looks like the new door is probably best way to go then. And agree can we have non of the personal attacks I dont want to start removing posts.
  21. To be fair if your venting your not gonna say oh gosh someone went into the side of my car and then run off so naughty of them. When I went out to my car and found the spoiler ripped off the language that came out was colourful to say the least.
  22. Yeah they did not look too bad when I went and looked at them for you. Look alright better than wheel trims anyway and for the price you got them for you cant complain.
  23. There just upset cause those of us with a higher spec got cooler wheels :-P among many other bits which are cooler.
  24. they cleaned up well.
  25. windows just mean you get blasted with more hot air. And having the windows down causes you to use more fuel too. That and your car uses more petrol when its hot generally anyway. Having the aircon on is good just to put it into perspective 20miles less fuel is only around £1 extra over the full tank. Personally i dont think £1 extra i gonna hurt anyone and id much rather be nice and cool than have to put up with all the extra heat to save just £1. Either way on or off i get around 30mpg.
