    Clutch

Yeah riding the clutch is a good way to quickly wear a clutch out. But hey its under warranty heh.

    Clutch

Hydraulic clutch on the C4 I think.
  3. Lol, Im quite happy staying single for a little longer. I actually have money now. Plus whats the point in a girlfriend when you have friends with benefits?

Im not really tall no about 5"10 - 5"11. Im just fat lol but fit in fine. My mates 6"5 though and he has driven my C4 for a while before without problems. The lever to adjust the steering wheel on the C4 is just under and to the side of it. Will allow for rake and tilt adjustment. And i find setting the seat to the lowest level helps as well. But then again i just like to sit lower in my car. Clutch is not really that high though and on mine you barely need to push it in.

;) Psh dont like red cars, red rules! Im not at all biased im mearly stating fact. :)
  6. My next door neighbour has got a 7" screen in his car got the top of the range pioneer unit over £1000 brilliant unit. Would love one myself now. Was thinking of getting one of the Alpine units though as there not too expensive and i like the fact the screens give some feedback when you press a button on the screen and can feel it.

No idea i dont think induction kits really make much difference on small engined cars typically. More there for show and noise. Only car i have seen with a 2.0 that developt any noticeable power with an induction kit was a Civic type R but the kit was £600 on its own. most of the time though they dont really do anything. No idea on diesels though but i would doubt it would make much difference anyway but probably best to ask nige or someone at angel they usually give you the truth on it. And my mate does a bit of everything. OpenGL coding, level design currently trying to learn 3d modeling same as me. As im currently teaching myself Maya. But it is a very difficult thing to get in to. Had another friend she did a CS degree but found it difficult getting a decent job as well.
  8. Top right is stereo controls everyone gets them. And everyone gets top left which is cruise / speed limiter. VTR+ / VTS get the menu buttons etc although thinking about it not sure if they will work on the VTR /VT with them having different screens to use VTR+ /VTS owners. And bottom left is air con, bluetooth, and interior light adjustment. which you also dont get on the VT / VTR. Still wish Alpine would get off there arse and get an adapter for my head unit to work with the steering controls for me. Numerous emails for the last year all got similar response its still in development.

Ah fair enough then. Remember you work in a games development thing now. Mates been trying to get into that. But finding it very difficult to get a job. They want someone with experience and he cant get experience without working somewhere first. So he was just bitching about his degree being useless the other week. And anything above 250bhp in a FWD car is gonna be rather fun to drive. And also a bit of a handful. But would be fun. Can tell you 1 thing though angel tuned 2.0 hdi is fairly quick. I had a hard job keeping up with 1.
  10. Rather than get the JVC spend a little extra and you can get the 7" touch screen one from pioneer thats a good unit for the price. Id look at that can add satnav etc to it as well. And yeah VTR+ has the menu, mode, escape, ok dark buttons and the dimmer all mounted on the steering wheel in the 2 lower sections. hence why i can use an aftermarket system and loose no functionality.
  11. Diesel is worth more on the resale.

Thought yours was nearer the 300bhp mark last time i read anything about it sure you mentioned something like that on Fiatforum...im most likely wrong lol. Or was it you wanted to get it near that point? meh either way still be bloody quick. So out of curiosity what you replacing the VXR with? And i would have to agree id take the VXR over the focus / golf. Focus is just ugly and the Golf is a little dull. VXR just appeals to me a bit more.

the 17" michelins on the VTS as standard are £140+ a corner so there not cheap either.
  14. Have you thought about asking Citroen if you can get the buttons from the VTR+ on the steering wheel so you can change it? The wiring is probably already there.
  15. If its something like that i'll fix it myself. Taken most of the interior out or apart before. And my change now goes in the ashtray...have mints in the trays now  But knowing citroen they would probably say that. Although to be fair on my dealer there usually pretty good.
  16. Only time mine got stuck is due to my mother slamming it and getting something caught in it. Bit of heavy handed smacking and pulling at the sides got it open again. Worked fine since. Bit like the small drawers on the dash one of mine got stuck open due to me keeping change in it and a 50p coin getting stuck behind it stopping it from closing. Just had to yank it out.
  17. Mine are usually fine but noticed yesterday my drivers side was being a bit funny one minute it was red hot so i turned it off next when i put it back on it was cool and would not get warm until i turned it up. Hoping its not the beginning of the warm 1 side / cold otherside thing then again its only a small gear thats got to be changed now i think someone said. Just odd it was normal again on the return trip. However unfortunately i blew one of my speakers on the way home. But ah well it was bound to happen at some point they take a fair bit of abuse was replaced for free anyway.

Nah VXR needs the 19's. I really want the 18's off the C6 on my car not sure if they will go on though.

18's will go on without any problem with the car lowered or at least they should do. Welshguy has his 18's on with a 225 / 40 profile so still fairly big and he still has gaps. 19's go on as well if you wanna go big. PCD is 108 x 4 and offset is 25 i think but offset can be changed slightly when changing up wheels anyway theres a bit of room to pull them further out the arch as well. 19's on the one below as well as a custom widearch bodykit. http://clcalvet.club.fr/sbarro/C4RPUR/av.jpg
  20. Got under the car to have a look? Possibility one of the mountings has come loose / broke.

Yeah and smaller lol. The GT40 looks tiny and so does the Ferrari Enzo. The koenigsegg CCX sounded absolutely mental in that show though. Reminded me of a big block yank engine but on steroids. And 3d effects were cool also bloody funny when the missiles come flying at you when you have an 8yr old kid next to you who is shitting himself and jumping out his seat every time the cannon or the missiles went off and then saying he didn't like it. Its mean but i was pissing myself laughing at this poor kid.

Well i had a pretty good time today dunno about the rest of you. Theater show was a laugh anyway. However I now need! A Roush Mustang in white. Think seeing it there made up my mind for me properly which car i wanted next as i got to see all the others on my short list non of them really appealed to me like the stang did.

    C4 Porn

Which is fine. When theres a C4 behind you driving and you see the lights in the dark it looks like its giving you the evils anyway.
  24. Id really like to have a go in one. Might ask my mate if i can take her aygo out for a little bit and see what its like sure if i offer her the chance to swap and drive mine for a little bit she will be happy lol.
  25. Yes the turbo conversion would work. If its for the 180- engine remember theres 2 206 GTI's the GTI 138 and the GTI 180. Think i would rather go cams, and throttle bodies if i was modding the engine myself over a turbo probably work out cheaper as well. £2k for throttle bodies and fitting cams at the same time probably would not be much more. Then decent exhaust, decat. I just love the sound of throttle bodies though.
