Ham messed the link up in this thread. I fixed it so should be fine now. Same as in the general section though he is just spamming again :-P

I learnt to drive in that model micra in a 1.0 version it was painful!
-
They had GM V8's didnt they came out of a buick if i remember correctly. Just given some british tuning. Hence why there were actually good and didnt produce around 180bhp from stupid size engines.
-
Been thinking this through myself. Decided im gonna wait till next years facelift model comes out and been around for a few months. want to see whats new with that one. And if it looks better has any other improvements engine wise etc.
-
You can get VTS's new from £15k with a few upgrades so just haggle a lot if there not gonna give it to just walk away. Wont be too difficult to find someone that will match there prices.
-
Mines clean now :-P just finsihed washing it not clayed it or anything took me bloody ages to do the wheels. Tooth brush was needed lol. Will get clayed polished and waxed tomorrow if it does not rain.

Great looking cars those although I prefer the Sagaris. Love the thing will own one someday. Just they have not got the reputation as being themost reliable and well built cars. Just have to show a picture lol as i love the look of them. Typical TVR styling in that its a bit out there. http://www.motordesktop.com/wallpaper/supercars/TVR%20Sagaris%20-%201024x768.jpg

Trying to decide if i should go do it now or not its not raining at the moment but its cold lol. Only gonna get a wash cant be arsed polishign and waxing it. I just need to be able to see out of the windows properly again.
-
Last time i got mine washed was the meet day of it actually. Everytime i was going to do it over last few weeks it starts chucking it down.
-
Why dont you try seeing how you get on with the VTS? I know people that get on fine with babies in a 3 door clio so it cant be any harder in a C4. And my mate manages with 2 babies in a rover 25 3 door.
-
Give your wheels a coat of wax next time after they have been washed will help them to stay a little cleaner looking and also makes them easier to clean in future.
-
Only the VTS 180 gets the black spoiler but the car in most peoples opinion doesnt look right without it. And i wish my garden looked like that. I cant be arsed looking after the smallish one we have.
-
Its the wicked red I think. Just give up trying to keep it gleaming it wont happen unless you do it every weekend. But if you gave it a decent wash and wax etc just a case of jetting it off with the jet washer.
-
He means the rear spoiler on the top of the window. Comes as standard on the petrol VTS. The black one. http://www.321auto.com/Actu/Essais/Citroen/C4/Vts/600/C4vts-079.jpg

^I suggested that on his other thread when he wanted bluetooth. But he went and got the C4 standard bluetooth system instead for a rather large sum of cash. So with that i dont think he will want to change units. Although it would have been the best way if you he ipod control too. Think the harmon kardon unit ham suggested is about the best way if you want control. The other systems are not compatible with the C4.
-
If you get a proper citroen one it will already be sprayed black...or it should be.

Engines in both cars have a similar output. Not sure if the yaris weighs any less or not though. Think if there is any difference between them speed wise it wont be that much all i can suggest is take one for a test drive and dont be scared to give it hell. The 1.6 needs to be at about 3500rpm before it will start to take off. The extra control will make a difference though i drive a couple autos and much prefer to drive my C4.
-
Before accessories etc were out i paid £200 for it off ebay and fitted it myself. Was quoted £550 for just the spoiler from citroen though. Not hard to fit either take around 30 minutes. Although the tape you use to stick it to the window is hopeless it lasts a few weeks then likes to pop off. Or it did on mine could be due to the bass making the window vibrate as well though. But i have now bonded mine to the window with sikaflex. And they are deffinately lower you notice it more when your parked next to them rather than just looking at it. Without a direct comparison as its only a little amount but its quite noticeable when cars are enxt to each other.

when your bank statement reads -£1748 for one -£2500 for the other and the other in positive then you can say you have no money. I had to pay my tuition fees which i owed uni  i should not have actually had to pay them but they said they werent going to give me free tuition cause i changed universities and courses.

If your on the 17" wheels thats about right for PE2's expensive tyres, but there very good as well. Think mytyres.co.uk used to have them for £114 but then you need to get them fitted. Although looking at the site today there the same price.
-
Prefer the Elise styling but the Vauxhalls deffinately get the better engine line up. And there cheaper seeing more and more vx's about really gaining in popularity at the moment among people after a quick fun car. But hey i prefer that to the Z3. By a massive amount never liked the Z3 always hated that car for some reason.

^ you forgot the little image... http://www.uvyd.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/worthless.gif

Not got mine yet gonna see if any of my mates want to come along as there all into things like this as well. And then not sure which tickets to book after that im deffinately gonna come though.

Not that bad actually mate can also make the engine run better than tandard map. Reason being standard maps are designed with a lot of differing climates, roads, fuel and servicing intervals in mind. Our country is fairly calm weather wise, and we do regular services on our cars and a few of us use premium fuel only. Thus remapping it should actually be totally fine it might reduce the engine life a little but were talking a few % of its lifetime and most engines are good now for hundreds of thousands of miles. The car will be sat in a scrap yard by then most likely i mean how often do you see old cars on the road now?

Some engines mods it'd be bloody hard for insurance companies to tell surely if you put new cams etc in unless the person looking at your car decides to take the engine apart there just not going to know. Or getting head work done etc. Want to get mine remapped. And I wasnt planning on telling my insurance company about it due to them being pretty much undetectable. Unless they have my original ECU map sitting next to them to compar which they cant have. One question do you still honour the guys warranty with him having the remap done or after that did you refuse to work on the engine etc of the car?
