Or you could get the 1.6 petrol for less and shave a bit more off those times and add some more on the topspeed. You just need to work the engine more though and dont get the great fuel economy but on the bright side. Road tax is cheaper the cars cheaper to buy and petrol is cheaper per litre. Doesnt it take like 75,000 miles or something before you brake even with what you would have spent on a petrol. Why i cant see the point in diesels much now because there becoming more expensive than petrols to run.
-
Not just the BHP though its the character of the engines the torque it would be a rather different drive to be honest. BHP is only noticeable at the topend. Not where a diesels power band is generally. but it would gain massive amounts of torque which is what moves you from the line to begin with more torque better acceleration and mid range power. Resulting in a far different car. You can easily notice a 10lb ft difference. Not sure but does the 92bhp one not have an intercooler but the 110 does. If thats the case add the intercooler and change the map on the ECU and you would probably have something better performing than the 110bhp motor. like the difference between a 1.4 and a 1.6 engine really. I find the 1.6 pretty slow in the C4 but i drove a 1.4 and i thought it felt absolutely gutless. And CD changer in armwrest should be too difficult to just a case of running the cable that might be the hard bit. Although the C4 is fairly easy to run cables through to be honest.

oki doki you will need, These if you have a 2000 - 2002 picasso if not i think it might be standard ISO connection although im not sure best pulling the radio out and looking. http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/index.php?...2ce088cf7d685f3 You will need this, http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_in...2ce088cf7d685f3 And this http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_in...2ce088cf7d685f3 The 2nd 2 adaptors are for the controls 1 is for the actual interface for the vehicle then the other changes depending on the brand of stereo but they plug into each other.
-
Need to get yourself a few adaptors to get it installed properly with the display working and the controls still working etc.

C4 arches are HUGE you could easily get 19's with some nice rubber under there.
-
The C3 usually gets great specification compared to others in the range but that one i cant see getting much extra. You get all that pretty much as standard on the C4 i honestly dont know the need for the C3 now unless people really want a car that size. but the C2 and C4 between them easily make up better choices in the range now. They never used to but they got spec'd up a bit more.

What alloys did you have on before for them to get damaged so easily? If there were cheap 18" wheels i can understand but if there fairly good id be getting in touch witht he company that made them. a small drop and a stiffer ride should not cause the alloys to break!
-
£550 they told me from citroen. And the VTR+ comes with most of the extras the VTS has including the wheels etc and isnt much more expensive over the VTR/VT ones is what i said the VTS is a bit more lol.

can see where the safest car in its class thing comes from really.
-
Im the same i like them and totally used to them i pretty much forgot about them the other day until i had a few too many drinks and as a result got someone else to drive my car for me. It deffinately didnt help the icky feeling when brakes were applied and we pretty much did an emergency stop. I suppose letting someone who drives an old sunny with awful brakes jump into the C4 its gonna seem a little bit keen lol. But they do give me a lot more confidence and the really cant stop you bloody quickly.
-
Bit of T-cut and some elbow grease will sort that. B) B)
-
Like how it says quality up to golf v and focus II standards. Love it when the C4 gets wrote about having a good build quality. Wiper thing seems odd though. Surprised there was no mention of the rather keen brakes as well.

Gone a bit OTT with the colour coding. the front looks wrong if its not black. Need some black to break up everything surprised the guy never did the lip spoiler on that on. I like the black and grphite trim on my car. Colour coding id just get my side strips done and then my B pillars done same as the spoiler is in that dark grey grpahite colour.
-
See where the extra £1000 or whatever it is for the VTR+ comes in wheels, climate control, few other subtle changes exterior wise wing mirror housing etc. its worth it for that.
-
Yes the VTS has a firmer suspension setup but his is an SX.
-
Yours an HDI or petrol? Shame you couldnt have got one of the slightly higher spec's but at least thats one thing all the C4's have fairly good specification you still get cruise control speed limiter air con etc as standard.
-
Shoulda gone for red. Far rarer. Lol.
-
No hole in the exhaust? changed the plugs recently? I know i was getting misfiring due to a bad sparkplug on myold car week after it had been in for a service actually they put another one in and it was fine.
-
Its the proper one. My insurance company didnt say anything insurance was free withthe car and they didnt care about the spoiler but thats about all im allowed to do to it. I asked about engine mods and that was a no no.
-
Mines not noisy but it's fairly harsh over bumps but not really a problem not had any complaints from passengers anyways. over speedbumps etc it feels fine barely feel them to be honest. but i think the suspension on the C4 is fairly stiff anyways as standard but does help in cornering i found where for the kind of car it is it keeps bodyroll down a fair bit.
-
Some of the lester stuff is ok. But it looks too bolted on. I want soemthing thats gonna fit the lines of the car without looking like its cheap tat bolted on. Thats hard to find lol. Just want some relatively simple skirts for it. Just a BMW iso adaptor then case of changing a couple wires around. And theres a guide to how i fitted the amps to my C4 in the ICE section.
-
Only thing i have done to mine is stereo and VTS spoiler. Couple of the guys have put induction kits on and one of the guys on the xsara forum had his VTS on 40mm springs. Thats about it lol. Theres no decent bodykits for the C4 they all look awful. Plus the car is too new to have various things out for at the moment. Even citroens own dressup kit looks awful.
-
You had a look on ebay? Not sure how easily they will be to find though most people like the VTR+ VTS alloys. But ebay is about the best place to try.
-
When i looked last time those wheels werent available on the 5 door only the toka toka ones were im sure of it lol. But the resolfen wheels are the nicest looking just an absolute bugger to clean them. With regards to prices £118 a tyre if you want the same michelins back on there.
-
There just the standard wheels on the VTR+ and VTS. I really want the wheels off the C6 though.
