I dont see how a C3 can be wort that little. My 3 year old 1.2 clio on parkers with my mileage was valued at £6000. Theres no way a C3 with your mileage etc shoudl be worth less!

Pug 307 auto is exactly the same car as the C4 just different shell. The new shape focus IS a better handling car than the C3. And with a manual it does require a lot more effort to drive. Personally i find autos boring to drive they give me no satisfaction when i drive them. And when i drive i want to be in full control of everything that happens that can only be done in an auto. Snow mode just means it'll take off in 2nd. or reduce the power. Does the C3 have traction control as well? Theres so many variances in cars. Bigger wheels on a car will also make it handle a lot worse in the snow. They give more grip in the dry but the car in the snow is spreading its weight out more and so will slide more in the snow. Also the focus is a bigger heavier car you can not drive them in the same way. Personally i find the new focus shape fugly to put it simply and wouldnt have one. But i know there cracking handling cars. It all depends what you want form a car though the focus is more at home being thrown about. The C3 on the otherhand would end up putting you in a ditch more than likely.

Not all of them are bad with reliability heard loads of problems with pioneers motorized system and alpines not working in the winter yet people still buy them. But on the uphand they do sound awesome the nak units. but i have got a deal on an Alpine 9855r so im gonna be puttin gthat unit in along with 1 sub and a set of components. disconnect rear speakers dont want em.

Why doesnt that surprsied me took them nearly 3 months to get my C4. I swear anyone who wants a wicked red car is forced to wait ages. if i had wanted a silver one woulda been 2 weeks. But the red looks absolutely gorgeous when its cleaned and shining. C3 looks good. Im still kinda wishing i got the C2 VTS instead of my C4. I just like small hatchbacks for some reason. But the C4 looks gorgeous when i go out to it in the morning just wish i could spend some money on modding it a little i reckon if it was lowered and had the OEM spoiler put on etc would look loads better. Just the gap between the wheels and the arches is HUGE! Shame the C4 auto only comes in 2 varieties SX spec or exclusive spec. Althoguht he exclusive is a lot of car.

See the pollution thing came up for me turned it off turned back on was fine. Guess it just likes throwing up random errors. Wont be the only new car that does it. Only problem with all these electrical systems giving warnings there a great idea but you get so many error messages that turning off and on fix.

I had the same service light come up and also the light about pollution or whatever it is. Only had it once turned engine off and then on never had a problem since. But did the pollution light come on for you as well?

Ahh all been sorted out with your brother then. bet hes happy. And went for another C3. Probably best choice get more with the C3 than you do with the auto C4 which is a little unfortunate. The only problem with the C4 the auto boxes are either bottom of the range model or it jumps straight to the top of the range 2.0 litre Exclusive model theres no in between models its cheapo one or top spec.

Would say thats deffinately not normal should not be hard engaging gears. But reverse you usually will find it hard unless you put your foot right to the floor. Idea though might be to put car into nuetral then lift you clutch up then down and try reverse again. Might be a bit smoother.

Thought it might be looks like its time for that upgrade then in january. Getmyself a nice Alpine MP3 unit. Or see if i can find someone selling a nakamichi headunit would look better since they have a nearly OEM look and they sound amazing. Then again they usually come with an equally impressive price tag.

Deffo wont go into production looking anything like that i can say. If it did though would be good a fairly smart looking van.

The seatbelt thing is bloody annoying. My friends thought it was rather fun to try and confuse it though. this is on the C4 wont stop beeping for about 5 minutes if you ignore it and is rather loud.

I dont honestly think you will give the lingo enough stick for esp to really be useful. but thats just my opinion its just not the kinda car you throw hurtling into corners and let the computer straighten you up.

98 liked to randomly crash so does XP but 98 at least used to come back online withoiut problems most of the time windows XP likes to give random errors. 2000 Professional is the best of the bunch well it was until my cd somehow got cracked and i had to move to XP :D

with the C4 to turn the auto lights on i have to move the stalk to the lowest position and then it comes up on the screen telling me there activated it will wipe once at this point then turn off. They are fairly good autowipers though. But i find that in heavy rainfall the C4 wipers are total shite i find myself wishing they were at least double the speed to clear the screen. My clio ones in comparison were brilliant and they werent that good.

I remember what i was like as a learner was only a year ago i know if i saw a car with dual controls fitted with 55k on the clock id think bugger that.

I dunno i checked an alloy wheels site thats what it had up for the C2 and C3 i think it was. Dunno what the C4 is to be honest. But i think it might be think i have seen some C2's on 17" C4 wheels.

THink its 4 x 100 bolt pattern and the offset is 35.

Same on the C4 took me a while of pressing buttons to find that out.

Yeah know what ya mean i have it set to auto near enough all the time. love being in comfort and dont really drive it that hard now used to rag my old car around like an idiot but having a bigger more powerful car that gets a fair bit of attention even in standard trim just makes me wanna drive slower. The things are so rare its brilliant. everywhere i go theres always someone looking at it. Or someone asking what it is. Cause the C4 really does look massively better when you see it on the road than it does in pictures etc. But theres the occasional time i have to put a boyracer in a 1.2 or a 1.nothing in his place. B)

Using the climate will take some fuel and should also rob you of a little power from the engine so wont quite be as quick. My C4 doesnt seem as quick when its on anyways its not massively noticeable until you have to ccelerate hard.

There not a haynes manual you can use say from halfords or another auto store? And wow on getting noticed how many threads for 1 topic? B)

When you deadlock it im guessing you press the button twice on your keyfob? If you hold it down or whatever it usually doesnt work. I held mine down on my C4 closes the windows etc for me but wont deadlock when i press it again hear the deadlocks cant open it from the inside thoguh i have tried. And also locked my mates in. And there should be a green light on the dash somewhere for dipped beam surely? Can you see the outline of it anywhere or know where i would be if so might just be a case of having the bulb changed.
