good point now i have my C4 all the buttons near the screen have bugger all to do with it. 1 is a dignostic 1 resets trip computer and 1 adjusts the lighting all the actual controls are on the stalks or wheel.

ahh i was wrong then oh well. i just saw buttons next to the screen when i looked at a C3 i shouldnt have thought logically and thought buttons next to screen alter those kinda options lol.

It should have a multi function computer it comes standard on all the models. Although thats where my knowledge runs out. But i think there is a couple of buttons next to the screen in the middle of the dash that allows you to cycle through and confirm options.

Yeah built by sq+ in manchester there rather expensive for work as well. But it is a rather mental C2 The more C2's i see the more i wish id bought a VTS now instead but i think i'll be more than happy with my C4

What the admins that are always here are gonna ban you? :lol: lol But to answer original question depending on headunit you need 2 adaptors usually one for steering stalk controls and 1 for the display. Can be got for the C3 rather easily.

Still waiting on mine arriving. Shouldnt be long hopefully! Getting really impatient now feel like a kid again just want my car lol.

Haha ok THATS unusual. Whats wrong with these people there country has been producing the best hot hatches for the last 10-15 years and they want off road 2cv's :S althoug admittedly i want one of those 2cv boats now!

Errr hmmm well its unusual.

when the 2 engines 1.4 petrol and diesel are compared there a bit more similar. Petrol is quicker off the mark better top speed but usually diesels due ot the low down torque are just more driveable on most roads. But still i wouldnt have a diesel. But my clio is technically a 1.1 16v engine although classed as a 1.2 by Renault (Rubbish) for some reason 75 bhp though and once you get it into around the 3500+ rev range its fine but 16v petrol units usually do need to be worked a lot harder than a diesel.

Found out why my C4 is taking so long. Apparently its due to me wanting a red one had i choosen another colour i woulda had it by now. But on the good side im apparently gonna be one of the only people in the country with a 55 reg C4 coupe in wicked red. But good news is i should have it in less than 3 weeks. YAY! About bleeding time. As long as it dont get delayed. And since i just recently turned 22 and my 1 years no claims my insurance just dropped a load :D happy now.

Lovely! My model clio was recalled a few weeks after i got it due to suspension issues but was an impact only kinda thing it could happen on if you hit a bump to hard could cause it to fail basically. Still didnt take it in to get done till around 5 months later.

I find it odd plastic has cracked due to just the sunlight :S

My insurance is bleeding stupid whatever car i get. I originally wanted a clio sports 182. Unfortunately it was group 16 or group 17 insurance depending on the model you get and at 22 was a bit ridiculous. £7000+ a year ridiculous. And yeah heard about the mutiplex wiring issues sure can find a way round it though. I actually asked the guy in the citroen dealer about that he didnt seem to think there would be a problem with it and he was getting himself a C4 after he had finished with his C2. And getting mine in wicked red. Was gonna get it in black but woulda been filthy all the time the buses that are constantly going past the car seem to love covering it in diesel smoke so its usually filthy gets washed very often as a result hate driving round in a dirty car.

I went with the VTR+ model for mine in the 1.6 petrol version. Only 22 and not got a years no claims yet so group 6 is still rather expensive to insure for me especially with living in the city centre meaning its always parked on the road in the centre of manchester. Cant rmember exactly how quick mine was think it was around 10.3 to 60 maybe a little more or less im not exactly sure. It will be going in for a remap though so expect that to come down somewhat. But i get a lot of features on the basic car. Theres not much more that you can get spec's wise on the VTS / exclusive i dont have except a couple small cosmetic things side bump strips are colour oded mine arent and theres a rear spoiler on the coupe version some door sills different exhaust really not a massive difference in it nothing im gonna care about anyways. I will likely end up getting the door strips colour coded anyways get my own decent stereo put in it and thats about it. I just wanna see if uni will let me borrow the dyno to run the engine in and plus wouldnt mind getting it on there anyway to see how well it is actually running. And what its getting before and after the remap.

Should be getting it in next couple of weeks. hopefully! Know what dealers are like :/ Although havnt had anythign to suggest its not gonna be here yet no phone calls or anything so hoping all goes well. Really looking forward to getting it now and giving it a bit of a thrashing over snakes pass what better way to find out how it'll handle? :D

I dunno i just think road cars shoudl have 3 pedals. Thats just me though i do drive an auto regularly as well but i still prefer to drive a manual it just seems more enjoyable.

You can get a double din to single din converter for the car how do you think everyone else puts after market stereos in them??? Then its just a simple case of putting in the cradle and the stereo takes like 10 minutes. Maybe its just me but im fairly quick at gear changes and i notice a delay in all the auto boxes i have tried.

The new focus is really ugly though in all fairness. And there will be a fascia adaptor to allow your stereo to fit. But most of these semi auto boxes suck used a couple different manufacturers versions wasnt a fan of them. Same as autos theres always a bit of a delay in when ya put your foot down to when it goes off. Its just one of the things you have to content yourself with when buying an automatic.

Get the mirrors done then should only cost a small amount for colour coding. Know someone got all there bump strips mirrors etc done for £70 so cant be too expensive for 2 mirrors.

Try www.angeltuning.co.uk Who i am gonna be going to see to get my C4 mapped. And on a few sites couple pug ones and a fiat one they never stop praising them. There also a bit cheaper i was quoted £265 for them to come to my house. Might as well ask if they can do your car.

Its quite common on a lot of different cars to have to do this. My mates corsa was the same she didnt know what it was at first though. Same with a couple mates puntos as well. Quite an easy fix though.
