  1. Exactly the same - appearance-wise at least - except that the Pug has a lousy looking front grill.
  2. I agree - and yet there's guys (on this forum) who claim they can do it easily. Anyway - job well done.
  3. Yes it's been a long wait - but they finally came out in February.
  4. When you get one you'll find what you want in section 5 paragraph 7.
  5. So do I. For dealer service the Citroën Xsara Picasso got "service was rated highly", When it comes to Citroën Grand C4 Picasso, dealer service was "only average". I know there's good Citroen dealers and also some crappy ones but when I read such inconsistencies, I can't be very impressed by the rest of it.
  6. The reservoir is behind the wheel arch liner so I think it's possible to work on it by removing the just the liner, but it's no big deal taking off the bumper. It's handy having help to lift it back into place.
  7. Before you rush into removing the bumper, as yours is a pre-facelift model, you might be able to reach the lights from under the bonnet. It seems some guys have managed it.
  8. If you've got HID you'll also have lamp washers. Remove the covers first or they'll break. Get somebody to pull the washer stalk (with the headlamps switched on), and grab hold of the arm that shoots out. Carefully unclip the cover off the arm. Open the bonnet and remove 3 maybe 4 torx screws on the front grill. Undo the screws in the wheel arch where the bumper meets the wing and also the screws securing the wheel arch to the bumper. Leave the wheel arch in. Give the 3 screws underneath the bumper a 1/4 turn and pull them out. The two sides of the bumper need pulling outwards to release clips from slots. Bumper pulls forward, releasing connectors as you go. Pre-facelift models use D2R bulbs. Regarding removing old bulbs. Seem to recall reading on here about disconnecting the battery and leaving for some time. Maybe do a search. That price of £25 is good. The local dealer told me they were £175 for tham.
  9. Maybe on Mk 1's but not on facelifted models.
  10. Yes! Any vibration? I've heard of Fords that have been changed that suffered much more vibes.
  11. You have a up/down control on the left for the passenger side and similar on the right for driver's side. Have you got them both set correctly. Temperature for each side should show in the screen.
  12. Lucky you that it was the nearside bulb. Mine was the offside and ended up with the front bumper off to replace the bulb.
  13. The tracking might well look correct but the steering wheel needs to be central before starting any adjustment. A good workshop will clamp the steering before starting.
  14. There was a guy on one of the Peugeot forums with similar problem. Peugeot dealer read his codes and recorded P1198 which they said was "Pump rotar control underfueling". They wanted to change his pump. He went to an indy who changed the fuel filter. No more problem. Seems that codes can be too readily believed.
  15. I remember it well! All that space between the cover and the rad.
  16. Could be the brake pad sensor wire has chafed and is shorting out.
  17. See if you can find them here:- http://www.brakes4u.co.uk/default.asp
  18. It's smooth, but similar shape. Lift the engine cover and it's on the left, front.
  19. Last time I changed my fuel filter mine wouldn't start until I'd used the handprimer for a minute or so.
  20. Seem to recall someone on a forum with a similar problem. I believe a cleaned MAF sensor was the cure.
  21. These are what you want:- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PEUGEOT-CITROEN-HDI-...%3A1%7C294%3A50
  22. Sorry for the delay in replying - been away for a couple of weeks and although I had a laptop with me, I couldn't find a connection. Yes! take off the covers before removing the bumper, otherwise they break. I know!!! Switch on the headlights, have a helper pull the washer stalk and when the jet carrier springs forward, grab hold of it and hold it out. The covers are held by plastic clips.
  23. As you say, LHM should be bright green. Dirty brown shows it's been neglected and is way over it's change-by date. If you feel like doing the job it's best to remove the reservoir for cleaning then put in some hydraflush (you can get it from GSF). Leave the hydraflush in the system for upwards of 1000miles then clean again and refill with LHM. If you have a Haynes book it will give you the method. The pollen filter will be found under the facia on the passenger side. Remove some screws securing the carpet and underneath you'll see the filter cover. The cover slides for removing. Some have a screw holding it, some don't. Note the direction as the old filter comes out. New one goes in the same way/
  24. I think not. Even with two of us on the job, it just wasn't possible. Maybe the xenons complicate it? The passenger side would be easier by removing the battery. Getting the front off isn't to bad. Four bolts underneath, three under the bonnet and two in the wheel arches. Comes off easier than it goes back on. Also unfortunately I forgot to remove the headlamp washer covers before doing the bumper and I managed to break both of them.
  25. You interested in this one for £300! http://www.frenchcarforum.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=26892
