This is really difficult to describe, but Ill try... Open the drawer Look at the runner on the LHS of the drawer and follow it back to the drawer recess. You will see where the runner runs along, a small 'tab' type thing, its plastic and looks like it should be pushed to the left. Get something long and thin, a biro refill etc, and push that tab to the left, whilst pulling the drawer. It should come free. Putting it back requires you connecting the spring back to the drawer (its like a flat wire spring that rolls up on itself). Once conencted, just line the runners up and push the drawer back in.

When is this due???

Normally, the digits flash because you are travelling at a speed over the set speed. For example, you are travelling at 70MPH, you turn the cruise control/limiter switch to reg and the digits '65' display (for example). If you then hit either the + or - set buttons, the car will take control and the digits will flash until it has bought you down to 66MPH or 64MPH depending on what button you set it with. Id say take it to the dealer and let them sort it. I believe a guy on here called Barney had trouble with this some time ago.

Oh right. Im gonna get some books I think. Im going on holiday soon, so wanna have a good idea of how to do some good things with it whilst away. Thanks for that Stuey

OD should be any different between the wheels though should it??? What you gain in rim you loose in tyre. Can you put the spare on the front or should it go on the back. I know odd sized wheels should be put on the back of a FWD car, but if the OD is the smae, it shouldnt matter.

That would be one way round it. TBH, I dont think it would melt clingfilm, it didnt get that hot. However, I didnt want to find out, and I really wasnt worried about the pins, cause they are right up inside the sony. I would have to shove the foil up it to short any pins out.

What sort of limit is there powerwise??? Will the standard engine take a big remap??? I mean, I know my 2.0litre can have upto 180BHP on the VTS, but assume there is some work done to uprate internals. What sort of power you looking at from your 1.6??? How much do you reckon you could get out of a standard 2.0liter petrol??? Are there any warrenty implications???

How do you get the starburst effect??? I have just bought a Sony DSC-R1 and want to learn how take good pictures. I know the R1 wont have as much scope as a DSLR, but its got a good lens on it and you can change all the same settings as on a DSLR.

It holds it really well cause the hole is the exact shape of the player. I didnt want to use cling film cause resin gets hot as it goes off (not too hot but fairly hot), I didnt know if the clingfilm would melt.
-
Why??? It was switched off and the pins are set inside the player and couple that with the fact that the gel skin fitted on it is quite thick, it was fine.

Thought Id give an update on this. The foam holder eventually stopped working because the foam compressed through keep pushing the MP3 player into it. It ended up not holding the player properly and letting it slide about. So I made another one, this time out of resin. I went to Halfords and bought some Davids Fastglas resin and hardener for £5, then to the market and bought some thin black felt for 75p. I removed the tray and lined it with tin foil, and the same with the MP3 player. The tin foil also has to be greased, i used vaseline. I then set the MP3 player in the drawer, supporting it at the correct angles, both backwards and towards the driver. I then mixed the resin as per the instructions and poured slowly into the lined tray, allowing it to flow around the player. Once dry, after about two hours, the player was pulled out and all the foil was removed. The resin block was then sanded smooth and cut to shape. It was then covered using the felt and some spray adhesive that was knocking around. The final reult is this: http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/720/p62501919hh.jpg http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/3750/p62501960hl.jpg http://img93.imageshack.us/img93/7595/p62501953he.jpg Total cost, £5.75 Here are some pics. I think it looks great. The pictures look a bit dodgy actually, oh well!!! I think I'd have actually liked it a little more upright, but I think I should be able to alter this if I want to at a later date. Other then that, its great. It holds the player really well, doesnt move at all and it fits really snug in the drawer. Im really pleased.

Well done Boyo. No more EBD moments!!!

I tried 'Line Out' today and it dont half make a difference!!! I only have to turn it up to about 12 now.
-
Youll know if they have enabled it because the screen will show 'Aux 1' and a picture of a Jack Plug. Thats what mine does anyway. Im a bit confused as to which Aux port the MP3 is connected to. Most say Aux 2, but mine is definately Aux 1, cause thats what is says. Aux 2 is what the CD changer is connected to.
-
Yeah, it goes as you say. Obviously you need to get it enabled at your dealers. I cant remember which slot its meant to go in. Mine could only go in one as I have the CD changer fitted.
-
It is 4th and 5th. I dont use mine around town, the traffic dont go fast enough where i live!!!
-
Bottom one, it dont work if you connect up as per the top one.
-
Ive heard the young 'uns a better driver then you!!

I can see that working if as you say, the filters last the distance. But on the first fill, there is gonna be loads of swarf and particles in the oil. I reckon it should be an oil change at 8000 or so, then the extended service intervals. TBH though, i dont like the idea. Im sure the engine would last a lot longer if the oil was changed every 10000 miles like it used to be.
-
Thanks. I dont like the shiney black paint!!! I think Ill cover it in something when I get chance.
-
I hope it sells well to. But I cant help feeling that many people will shun it because its not a boring German car. It is just so different, it really deserves to do well. I dont know whats going on at Citroen lately but they are coming out with some cracking cars, I mean, the C2, C4 and C6 are all brilliant, the C3 is great (if you like that kind of thing) and the Picasso is still selling well. Which dealership do you work for???
-
Yeah, i cant afford one!!! My dealer is Hidsons Gravesend. I dont think they are getting the C6. its only certain dealers that can sell it. Is that right??? Yeah, just labour to do the lead. I pulled it into the glove box and left the player with them while they did it. Then I moved it again when I did me holder.
-
I used the Citroen lead and got it enabled on Saturday. Cost the £36.70 they said it would. I did get two nice Citroen C6 books though!!!
-
Thats a good point, was it full up to the max. mark when you bought it???

If it is burning oil, it should be possible to see blue smoke emitting from the exhaust. I think they can do gas analysis tests etc.
