Why does that red look so deep??? Mine dont look like that!!! Must be a trick camera filter or something.

Just as a side note, you see loads of C4's in Spain and France, no where near as un-common as in this country. Every other one was a VTS and most were diesel (no spoiler). The car still gets loads of looks in both countries though!!!

Hi Everybody!!!. Just been away for two weeks in Spain, to the Costa Brava (or as I like to now call it, Spains Big Building Site!!!) Had a great time. The weather was absolutley gorgeous for 2 weeks solid, so that was lucky. Had a really lovely Villa which had a massive pool which was really welcoming during the heat of mid day. 9 of us drove down in 3 cars, I took the C4 and it did really well. The seats were tremendously comfortable and the car in general felt comfy, quiet, safe, solid and it felt like it could go on forever!!! Oh, and I now love cruise control!!! Some little niggly things which have occured though, the aircon compressor has started to whine, and the rear suspension has started to graunch under compression and clonk. So, they can have a look at that for me. Also, Some of the heat shielding/sound proofing in the engine bay has come loose. Looks like a clip has dropped out. Anyway, a grand distance of 2031 miles were covered. I now have very nearly 24000 on the clock, the car was registered in April 05... so its had a fair amount of use!!! A total average of 38.6 MPG was achieved, but on the way down I was averageing nearly 43 MPG. Not too bad then for a 2.0 litre petrol doing 70-80MPH Traffic round town was very stop start due to loads of urbanisation work, this accounts for the drop off. Anyway, whats been going on here???

Dont like these extended service intervals. It can be good for an engine having oil in it that long. I mean, I know modern oils are good, but this still doent seem right to me.

Oh well, thats encouraging then. least i know its probably not something Ive done, or has been done to the car. Thanks guys.

Maybe ill pop down there tomorrow after work then. I cant imagine they would be that expensive if I did end up paying, they are only strips of plastic after all. Thanks KFK.

Well, all I can honestly say is, I haven't ripped it off. Hopefully someone else hasnt had a go at it, but you never know Its just the very top is starting to come off probably about 2 inches can be pulled up. I dont really know how its held on. I can see no obvious clips. it looks like it is fixed to the edge of the glass somehow. How are these pieces of trim held on??? I have read on other sites about these being an issue for some people.

You know the black trim at the side of the windscreen??? Well, mine is starting to pull off on the passenger side. Do Citroen replace this under warrenty??? The car has never been in a car wash (well, at least since I have owned it it hasnt). Thanks for any info.

Yes, to lock, press the lock button once for normal or twice for deadlocking. If windows are left open. Also, from the unlock state, press and hold the lock button to engage normal locking and close windows, then press again to deadlock. Middle button is Guide me Home lights. Final button is unlock. In the locked state, push the lock button again to start 'find me' mode, which flashes the indicators for 15 secs I think.

Who does that affect, everyone??? Ive not heard any stories of non-strating C4's.

I dont where a hat and I dont smoke a pipe (pipe, pipe pipe!!!), but I did used to own a Mk3 Rover 214 as my last car, and it was a good car!!! I still miss it very much. I did a few little mods to it, that I cant do to the C4. For instance, I added a armrest, footwell lighting, illuminated rearview mirror from an MGF, fog lights etc etc. Cant do any of that to the C4, its got everything!!! By the way, Im 23.

Have you got a pic of the Citroen Keyring??? I need a new Keyring, and want a Citroen one, but Ive never seen a nice one.

When I put my drawer back in, I pulled the spring out of the drawer a little using my left hand, with the middle finger on the left hand side and the index finger on the right of the spring. (imagine the two finger salute but with fingers pointing downwards...) Then holding the drawer in your right hand, pull the spring out enough so that you can clip it back on to the back of the drawer. Once clipped on, line the runners up and push it in. Hope that helps you.

The in dash air freshener things are crap. They dont work for me very well at all. And to find that out, I got charged nearly a tenner for two air fresheners!!!

There is often CD changers come up on Ebay, cause its the same as the ones Peugeot use as well. Theres quite a few at the mo... just search Peugeot changer. Thats, odd, Ive already got that in mine, although mine is a VTR+. It should be easily possible, although I wouldnt have a clue how much work was involved.

To enable auto-locking, push and hold the lock button on the dashboard until the display shows that it has been enabled. Not sure about what else can be switched on, the visual display for the rear sensors can be if they aren't already.

like mine as well even better because you cant get my pattern no more. mine are the black / orange ones. I got those seats, they look excellent and are really comfy. Why cant you get them anymore???

Why do you have to get it switched on if it states you should have it in the manual??? Seems a bit strange to me.

Oh right. Seems the book maybe wrong then, or maybe you only get a visual display on the navidrive disply or something.

As per the title really. Reading the book, it says you should get an audible warning and a visula warning on the display. I only get an audio warning. Which is right???

Yeah you can. Under the steering wheel is just like a thick carpet type panel that you can just pull down. it might even have fell onto this, so when you pull it down it might just roll onto the floor.
