Id be willing to bet its the White/yellow cable, next to the Earth on the stereo power connector. My car has had something connected to this and the earth cable, as there is black tape covering a section of removed insulation on each cable. However, i just tested this cable and could find no difference when the stereo is muted or not. My car was owned by a Citroen UK Sales Exec and has no built in bluetooth, so Im thinking this was possibly for a phone kit.

Im thinking about the Becker Grand Prix. If you get it with the Anmber back lighting, it looks stock.

Well done. :) You will be able to sort out the rear parking sensor on your non standard stereo now. :P :lol: B) Thats what I wanted to try and do when I askes for wiring diagrams. Im gonna borrow the digital scope meter from work and have a look at it.

The annoying beep is there to remind you to put your seatbelt on. It can be turned off and the subject has been covered on these forums, but I wont tell you how to do it, you'll have to find it. As for the Cruise, there is a rotary switch on the top left of the steering wheel control hub. Switch it one way to 'Lim' for speed limiter and the otherway to 'Reg' for cruise control

No, I mean it whines when its in use, especially at about 2000RPM, thats when it seems loudest. It makes such a big difference tothe noise levels in the car when you switch the AC off.

My AC compressor whines, sounds like the bloody Millenium Falcon entering Hyperspeed!!! Yet another thing that needs looking at when it goes for service.

The high waistline and wide A pillar, cause I didnt see a post and dented me door!!! Other than that, nothing really. I have some little rattles and squeaks. But it has got 24600 miles on it. My seat squeaks when I push the clutch down, but I cant fix it cause its a spring inside. Thats about it.

Sorry to hear about your troubles Ciaran. You seem to be going through it a bit lately where cars are concerned!!! I put a dent in my own car last night, in the passenger door. Its a sort of crease rather then a proper dent so I'm a bit worried that they wont be able to sort it out.

How many miles has your got on it. Mine is an April 05 car and has 24600 Miles on it.

I have a front suspension clonk too. As with you, my dealer says they can find no reason for it.

Right, on the power connections I have found these voltages (to earth) in neutral with engine running Red = 14V Blue and purple = 4V White and White = 0V White and Yellow = 14V The thing I dont get it, they dont seem to change when you select reverse.

Weak points... Some cars have squealy rear brakes (when in reverse) Some cars have rear suspension 'clonking' issues Door panels can rattle Some models suffer from the occasional engine mount going Thats about all I can think of. As you can see, not that bad in terms of severity. I must admit I have heard so many Renault (Rubbish) horror stories, I dont think I'd buy one.

Is there a way of getting hold of Wiring Diagrams for the C4??? Id be interested in looking into how to connect up the reverse parking sensors to a non standard stereo.

Can you alter the 'focus' using computer software then??? My dad has a 350D. Hes actually on his 2nd cause his first one got knicked. I think its a great piece of kit. I myself have a Sony Cybershot DSC-R1. Its a 'Pro-sumer' camera. You cant change the lens, but its got a 24mm - 120mm Carl Ziess lens attached. You can buy some lens adapters to make it do different things, but they are very expensive. The best bit though is the 10.3Mp CMOS sensor. Takes massively detailed pictures with great vivid colours.

I must say I think that 2nd pic of all the fronts is pukka. Who took the pics and what camera???
