  1. I didn't renew the Trafficmaster for a second time and the lady eventually stopped after about a week. If you press the button after it will tell you your Licence no and Tel no to renew. I'd had it on manual for the last few months as it got on my t**s.
  2. Welcome Dan. Our C1 is nearly six months old and it does exactly what it says on the tin. Toyota engine at Citroen pricing, can't be bad. No probs to date. Eddie
  3. Did you also top up the EOLYS fluid?
  4. My 19 year old daughter - sorry very stereotypical.
  5. Welcome Pete. I have a new look C5 estate with 72k on the clock and no problems. I was thinking of changing for a C4 later in the year, but I might get another C5 hatch instead because of the comfort and economy. Enjoy!
  6. Randombloke Sorry for not coming back to you with regard to my filter change, I completely forgot as it is on a maintenence contract. When I am in for service next month I will let you know. Regards Eddie
  7. Mart Welcome to the forum. We have a 1.0 Vibe and it says exactly what it does on the tin- no frills but a lot of seat in your pants driving with loads of mpg and great for parking. £35 a year road tax now. My tip - order an aux lead from your dealer for about £4 for your ipod and enjoy! Keep in touch. Eddie
  8. The computer has probably stored the date from the last service and is counting down irrespective of mileage. My Picasso had only done 5500 miles after 1 year and was telling me to arrange service.
  9. Sorry to hear about your problems. I have a mark 2 C5 estate and only really had to replace the rear opening window under warranty.
  10. Is the dealer part of a big chain? Can anyone recommend a good independent in the area?
  11. Welcome Chippy. I'm also looking to order a C4 VTR+ EGS later on in the year to replace my C5 estate. I don't really use all the room in the estate, so looking forward to a smaller car, automatic, with low emissions. Please keep us informed how you get on throughout the year. Eddie
  12. Had the particulate filter changed and EOLYS fluid refilled yesterday on my C5 with 65k on the clock. It took about four hours to do. I pay a maintenence contract so I don't see the bill, but expect it to be at least £500. Being a New Look C5 built in 2004, it was one of the early ones that required changing at 62.5k miles, but I suspect that it is now over 100k miles.
  13. Looks about same size as Xsara Pic. Spare under. Seats don't come out completely. Looked nice in the new metallic light blue. Due out March 12th. Wait until cashbacks and glitches sorted.
  14. Is it a 3 or 5 door? Which seals have they replaced?
  15. Point taken about the C1, but C2 or C3 is a better comapison to the Clio.
  16. Blimey, it must be crap if Kfk says so. <_<
  17. 41. C5 about £375 Pic about £285 C1 about 50p (only joking!)
  18. I would concur with Cool Carbon's note on family dealerships. I have 5 Group dealers closer than the family run one I use. More time and travel but worth it.(Chevron Motors Worcester)
  19. Good point Cool Carbon. But if they are so rare surely they should hold their value, or is it because nobody wants them? We bought one in September 03 with no cashback deals and various leaks. Managed to trade it back to the dealer in June 04 at a loss of £3.5k. Still think it's ingenious but would dread an out of warranty repair if the roof goes wrong. Now they've reduced the range, I reckon it's on it's last legs. Shame.
  20. Can anybody explain why the Guaranteed Minimum Future Value on a 3 year old Cote D'Azur Pluriel is roughly the same as my C1 1.0 Vibe , and yet the Pluriel costs twice as much to start with? Surely Citroen should drop the price of the Pluriel even more after cashback with such poor residuals.
  21. Our C3 2004 Desire had side airbags, front height adjustors to both seats, seat back pockets, and extra 12v socket to front of centre console. All this was deleted later on in the year  but it became all one external colour, oooohhh  Tight ar**s at Citroen.
  22. Thanks for the advice all. I do about 36k miles per annum, mainly motorway so I'm not too bothered about sporty style. But the prospect of a semi automatic at 13% company car tax in 2008/9 appeals to me.
  23. Is the accelerator igetting stuck in the carpet mat by any chance? Our C3 used to do that occasionally.
  24. PWD I used the £750 loyalty voucher last February on top of the deal negotiated with the dealer. The dealer is not losing out, they will get reimbursed direct from Citroen regardless of the agreed price. Try another dealer and see if they can match your first deal. Good luck.
