What year is your car ? A look on the parts diagrams shows your engine does not have a pump in the tank. It may pay to have the fault code read on a Lexia or another Citroen specific code reader since a search indicates P0001 can be used differently by manufacturers and may refer to a fuel volume problem but on another forum the fault on a C4 Picasso was fixed by replacing the engine fusebox. On the C5 Technical section is a pinned Diagnostic topic of some members who will help others. If you are having to wait for the engine to cool down to reset a code then if not the fusebox, it could be something like a camshaft sensor but probably not the crankshaft sensor. These can start to fail as they get warm and then be ok when they cool down. A failed camshaft sensor may put the car in limp mode (we had this on a C3 but it gave camshaft sensor fault codes) but the crank one would likely stop the engine.

Beware that if you replace the speedo cluster with one from another car, the car will adopt the mileage (km) of the higher of the old/replacement speedo. There are places that may be able to sort this out but you would probably need some documents to prove the car is not being clocked. If taking the speedo apart there is some info here that may help from the Common Problems topic: 19. Speedometer stops working. The motor at the back of the speedo can be replaced to fix this - see http://www.citroen-o...ometer-repairs/

Welcome to the forum. Which engine do you have since some have an in tank pump and others do not ? What code reader are you using and are there any starting problems and how many miles ago was the fuel filter replaced ? Does your code reader give live data and the fuel pressure to allow you to see if it is low ?

Welcome to the forum. The 2008 on C5 has a problem with oil leaks from steering racks which could be the result of the column input shaft rusting and damaging the top oil seal. £500 seems dear for a recon rack. So steering rack problems are not unknown on Citroens. You could have a look on the eurocarparts site using your car reg to see how much they charge but they are not always the lowest cost. 25. New C5 (mark 3/X7) steering rack oil leaks - at least 5 cases so far. We have 2 members jefflad and Howiec with steering rack leaks that are proving difficult to fix. Where the supply and return pipes join the rack, the seals are leaking fluid. It seems Citroen want to replace the pipes to fix this and that just replacing the O-ring seals does not work. Citroen also do not sell the seals separately. An additional 2 members, Parkesie and johnfing, have found a leak from the steering column shaft input seal on top of the steering rack, which initially was thought to be the pipe seals. This seal also is not available so replacement racks have been fitted. The column shaft has badly rusted so may be the cause of the leak - applying grease could possibly prevent this. See http://www.citroen-o...uid/#entry75684 . See also this topic for info on replacing the rack http://www.citroen-o...ent/#entry81594

Welcome to the forum. Rather than a bsi/comm 2000 problem it could be a problem with the wiper motor or its electrical connector or its wiring. To get at the motor the plastic scuttle below the windscreen needs removing and this is covered by the Haynes manual for the C4. If after checking the wiring and electrical connector it still does not work correctly, a new wiper motor and the linkage on it are about £240 so you may be better trying for a used one. The Citroen part no. may be 6405R0 but this should be checked using your VIN. Also have a look at this from the C5 Common Problems pinned topic: 43. New C5 (X7) front wipers not working properly. Before replacing one of the 2 wiper motors, it may be possible to do a fix to the motor wiring pins - see this topic from c5vtr http://www.citroen-o...x7-wiper-motor/

Welcome to the forum. You can use the car VIN in the Citroen parts diagrams (a free service) and it gives the details of your car and the warranty start date of 26/6/2002 which will be when it was first registered. So I would have thought this would be enough. It is listed as a 2.0 hdi 110 bhp, estate, 5 speed manual gearbox and paint code EZR aluminium grey. There is also the type approval number BER e2*98/14*0220*01 which appears on registration documents. You can print this out and then show it to the DVLA (or what the current name is). To get this info you need to register on the service.citroen site as another professional and a member of the Citroen Owners Club. Then use your VIN (VIS) top left in the search box and then look in the left column for the Characteristics and the details of your car will appear (as well as the parts diagrams). The actual date of manufacture will be a bit before the registration date but usually the various parts have a date of manufacture stamped on them such as plastic trim and windows have the date on them in the form of dots and maybe a number. http://service.citroen.com/pages/index.jsp As well as the paperwork I would think the headlights will need changing for ones from a right hand drive car. On the C5 Technical section there is a pinned topic of Common Problems worth looking at.

Welcome to the forum. There are a few caravanners on here (and possibly anti caravanners) so if you need advice on towing as well as cars you can always ask.
-
The Citroen part no. for the anti roll bar drop links is 508777 but this should be checked using your car VIN. At citroencarparts.net they are £30.85 each. If one side has worn out then the other side is probably also due for renewal. They only take a few minutes to replace and a ring spanner and torx bit or allen key is needed to undo them. The torx bit/allen key is used in the end of the threaded part and stops the joint rotating as the nut (45 Nm) is undone.

The ebay ones could be the right size, you may also find some similar in a car accessory shop. According to the Haynes manual there is only the one rivet holding it in place.

Welcome to the forum. There are many C5 owners on this forum so you are in good company if you need any help or are able to help others. What year is your car and which engine is it ? On the C5 Technical section there is a pinned topic on Common Problems that is worth having a look at.

Welcome to the forum. You have not given the year of your car but the following is based on the Haynes manual for the 2004 to 2010 C4, page 11.21. The plastic part is usually called the scuttle panel. In the position you have highlighted, there should be a plastic rivet, the type that has a central pin that is pushed in to expand the legs on the rivet once pushed in to the hole of the car body. To remove this rivet, the centre pin is pulled out and then the rivet can be pulled out. So if you can slide the scuttle back up you should see a metal bracket with a hole in that the rivet should go in to. On the back of the scuttle there will probably be plastic clips that hold it against the glass so it should only be slid back in place up the glass to avoid breaking/bending them. To get the correct rivet you will need to visit a Citroen dealer but it will hardly cost anything but will be like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PEUGEOT-CITROEN-BONNET-GRILLE-TRIM-CLIPS-RIVETS-6997T2-Push-In-Type-x10-/231065906211

Welcome to the forum. Is it just a case of the air hose having degraded so it can not take the normal suction vacuum, if not then maybe the air filter has blocked up and needs changing. In any case, any restriction has to be between the air hose and the air inlet so it can not be the engine or turbo since if I have this right, these are on the engine side of the air hose.

The MOT testers manual can be seen on-line and it looks as if the tyre pressure monitoring is only checked on vehicles first used from 1/1/2012, copied below: The inspection of the tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) only applies to passenger vehicles with: · four or more wheels, and · not more than 8 passenger seats excluding the driver’s seat, and · first used on or after 1 January 2012 An additional thought if it is disabled, is this classed as a modification and therefore should be reported to the insurance company ? Also if an insurer is basing its premium on the car's safety features and one of them is not working, then if there was a claim they might reject it.

Welcome to the forum. You have not given the year of the car and if it is a front or rear bumper. Cars from 2008 only have 1 front bumper part number but ones before have different ones depending on the car - so you if you are able to look at them you may be able to detect any differences. Rear bumpers of all years can be different part numbers depending on the car. You could compare part numbers against your car VIN (VIS) and the donor car VIN on the service.citroen site if you register as another professional and a member of the Citroen Owners Club. The bumpers can be found under Bodywork and Front or Rear section http://service.citroen.com/do/changerParametres

Another member will hopefully confirm this, but I thought the esp works from the wheel abs sensors so that if the car detects a wheel at a different speed to the others, the car will apply individual brakes to help prevent a skid or wheel spin. The steering angle sensor may also be part of the esp system. There are some things here that are worth looking at http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/forum/post/?t=19811

Welcome to the forum. How well does the car go, such as 0-60, mpg, any other info to make us jealous ?

The Citroen part no. for the C1 seems to be 8665NR and from citroencarparts.net is £10.05. They are a Peugeot dealer (so sell genuine Citroen parts) in Barrow but there might be postage on top of this. http://www.citroencarparts.net/?s=8665NR A search on other sources gives Perrys on ebay at £14.97 and other possible high price sellers. You could also find your dealer will give a discount if you are a regular customer. If a part needs to be ordered and is not required the next day, then the dealer can get parts at a lower price so any possible discount can be greater.

You may not have to remove the top shroud to remove the switch, just see if the clip holding it in can be pushed so the switch can slide out. The clip is a bit like a hooked tag at the end of the switch where it fits to the module. I have not done this job so can only go by the photo in the Haynes. I would get the Haynes since it covers everything except the engine. For the engine you really need the Citroen service box dvds from ebay or possibly easydiagnostics and there is also the French RTA manual which is similar to Haynes but in French http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rta-654-1-Citro%C3%ABn-C5-Diesel/dp/2726865410/ref=sr_1_9?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1432306395&sr=1-9&keywords=citroen+c5

I have assumed your car is left hand drive for use in Spain and it has automatic climate control. I could be wrong but have you changed the motor that puts the air flow on to recirculation (it is located high up above the passenger footwell for a left hand drive car) and not one that adjusts the heater flap position ? The passenger side heater flap position motor is located close to the left side of the passenger footwell and is awkward to reach. The driver's side heater flap motor is located at the right side of the driver's footwell and is a bit easier to reach. Sometimes the socket on the heater flap that the motor fits in to can break and there is a topic here which may help from the C5 Technical section Common Problems pinned topic: 10. The air conditioning only gives cold air at one side or does not cool much. The evaporator matrix cooling the air on the C5 is long and if the amount of refrigerant is low then there will not be enough to cool all the matrix for both sides of the cabin. First step should be a regass then if that does not work and there are no leaks then look at replacing the air flap control motors. A regass may be about £50, a flap new motor about £60. It could also be damage to the air flap shaft motor fitting - see this post http://www.citroen-o...c5-2002-aircon/ . I had to have both C5s regassed when about 7 years old, on the second one there was a printout that showed there was only 93 g of refrigerant left and that 525 g were put back in yet the air con was working and gas could be heard going through the pressure control valve but the air was not cooling much. Also have a look at this topic for a possible fix to a broken heater flap connection http://www.citroen-owners-club.co.uk/citroen/topic/22652-c5-v6-problems-and-fixes-exhaust-heater-flap-motor-air-bag-ecu/

This is from the Haynes manual, page 12.4, section 5. Undo the 2 screws and remove the steering column lower shroud, then release the clips and remove the upper shroud. Depress the clip each side to slide out the lower switches from the module (see illustration 5.5c) - this shows what looks like a plastic clip at the outer edge of the module on each side which seems to hold in the switches.
-
Welcome to the forum. There is a Citroen breakers at the end of this topic that may be worth a try http://www.citroen-owners-club.co.uk/citroen/topic/22652-c5-v6-problems-and-fixes-exhaust-heater-flap-motor-air-bag-ecu/ You would need to check a used letter is in good condition since any pegs may break off and the chrome could discolour.

Welcome to the forum. It probably means it is due a service determined either by miles since the last one or the time since the last one which could be 1 or 2 years depending on the engine type. If it has recently been serviced then possibly the service indicator was not reset. How to do this is in the handbook but on Citroens is usually to hold down the mileage reset button on the speedo and then turn the ignition key so the dash lights up, once the counter has gone down to =0 you can release the button and the indicator is set.

For the dipping (indexing) passenger door mirror, the driver's door mirror selection switch needs to be left in the passenger door mirror position. Then when reverse is selected the passenger mirror will turn down to the kerb - you may need to set the required position if not as wanted. Once the gear lever is moved back out of reverse the mirror will return to normal position. Headlamp washers are only fitted if you have HID headlights which may have been an option. I am not sure about directional headlights.

Citroen C3 1.4 Vtr+ (70Hp) N/s Wing Mirror, 2010 Reg
paul.h replied to dean200764's topic in C3 - General
I do not think it would be too difficult but you are likely to be better taking it to a Citroen dealer since they will be familiar with the car, will have clips to replace any that could break as the door card is unclipped and are likely to have seen this problem before and should not take too long. If doing it yourself, a trim removal tool would help when unclipping the bits - as an example http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/181069180121?limghlpsr=true&hlpv=2&ops=true&viphx=1&hlpht=true&lpid=108&chn=ps&device=c&rlsatarget=&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0-L&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=108 -
