  2. If you have the key code then just go to the dealers for the key. Will cost u around £30/ As for timing belt then £280 is a very fair price
  3. ok to be honest here can you explain the fault again as your English is a bit broken and I cant fully understand it. I think you've changed the turbo and got no acceleration . did they investigate what caused the turbo to fail in the 1st instance. "nd did they clear all the turbo pipes out properly
  4. watch out for the abs sensor bolt snapping. try and get some lube on it
  5. Sure its a T55
  6. Check the earth lead to the engine and the battery terminals
  7. the elm 327 was our 1st venture into the world of diagnostics. It was a original unit with usb leads and worked a treat on many cars including plenty c5,s. I think the fault is that its a chinese cheapie and u got it for les than a ice cream so u cant really expect it to do anything Try a original unit there around £20 and come with leads and software disc and it will work a treat
  8. You really need to be carfull with the 2.2 puma engines as they are prone to throwing conrods through the engine block. I wouldnt be adding anything to it and would just concentrate on regular oil changes.
  9. the job is easier with a press. but can be done by hammering old one out and using a vice to press new one in. or take hub to anygarage local to you and they will press it in for you u (at a cost ) we normally charge a few packets of biscuits as it really dose just take seconds with the press
  10. Its built into the abs sensor on the front wheel
  11. Its going to drive you insane and cost you money trying to trace the humming noise. the best way to fix it is to put it down to the fact that its a 13 year old car and has a bit of character. Or if money no object then get a pressure test done on the power steering pump to make sure it has the right flow rate. If you have directional headlights check the ASR ecu under the center consul.
  12. The throttle body needs cleaning. use brake or clutch cleaner . never cleaned one on a c8 so I cant give you a run thru but as a rule its a very easy job
  13. does it work when you put it on auto defrost
  14. Your just throwing money away here. If the garage cant use the diagnostic machine properly to find the fault then go elswhere m8
  15. Thank you paul. Id just finished a nightshift and was a bit tired
  16. Personally i would spray anything into it at all. it will be clean enough and if the cleaner has any kind of combustible in it then your engine is just going to over rev and start knocking. google 1.6 turbo failures and see if you still want to add anything to it
  17. its not a DIY job all you can really do is put injector cleaner in with your fuel
  18. As in it dosnt blow cold or it dosnt blow any air out
  19. You really need to have the drive shaft out. if the bolts are siezed then a quicker option would be to just unbolt the whole mounting/bearing carrier from the back of the engine. Think its 3 or4 16mm bolts. then slide the whole lot out with the driveshaft still in the carrier and you can then remove the 2 drive shaft bolt a lot easier when its on the bench
  20. Just get a complete seat from the scrap yard. 4x 45 torx bolts 1 x 17mm seat belt bolt and 1 multiplug and the jobs done
  21. sound like someone has known about this fault and switched the stop/start off. economy mode can be altered using lexia and for it to be set to 3 minutes is just stupid. Paul is spot on with there possibly being a battery fault. Take it to any motorist discount store or Halfords and they will do a load test on the battery free of charge. If its a Citroen warranty on the car then you can take it to another Citroen dealer who can maybe do it quicker
  22. hi Arak been away for the week so sort of catching up on posts now. Whoever is doing your diagnostic need to do the following and the diagnostic machine will help them diagnose the fault. Once the diagnostic I plugged in they need to go to live data then injector adaptation this basically shows you what each injector is doing voltage/fuel wise if you've got a injector off then you should see one injector showing higher reading than the others. We would then double check this with a manual leak off test. then it would be sent to a injector specialist for a 3rd check and recon if needed My advice to you would be to check/clean the egr valve as this causes all kind of rough running problem also all rubber vacuum pipes. Reading your post was the fault/light on before you took it into the garage or did they cause it when doing the boot repair
  23. The boot problem maybe putting a drain on the battery. But the battery wont last forever. How old is the battery and you could always pop into any discount store/garage and ask them to do a load test on the battery
  24. Goose im looking at the photo of your engine. Bottom right of the pic youve got a solenoid ( orange multiplug) if you follow the vacum piping from it as it goes over the engine theres a rubber join in it. Check the join or if you can replace the pipe for a complete one as that could be your problem if its losing vacum as it dosnt look the best of joints
  25. ok m8 pm your address as i didnt keep it last time and il post one to you ( got one )..
